Alicia was angry. And that was the understatement of all time. Period. She was honestly about ready to slice a certain someone into ribbons, which she'd then find a way to use to magically create a copy of him which she'd repeat the process on... Alright, that was something that very few people actually had any means to do, her not being among them, but she was actually angry enough that she might well defy the laws of both physics and magic to do it.
Everyone within a ten mile radius could probably feel her cold rage radiating from her. No doubt they would feel as if being buried naked in the snow would be nice and warm, maybe even burning hot, compared to the chill that Alicia's anger put on the entire area.
Indeed, as Alicia entered the base, all was quiet. The halls were empty... Relatively. One or two people had remained, but when they turned around and saw the look in her eyes, they were filled with absolute terror, and they ran like hell... Some of them in the direction of the base's exit. Whether they'd ever be seen again was uncertain, and irrelevant.
Finally, Alicia was at the door to Yuan's office... She didn't bother knocking. "Oh Yuan~" she said sweetly, "I've got your 'coffee'~" It could probably be told by the way she said the word, and the look in her eyes, that this wasn't coffee. It had been a mixture of mud and monster dung she'd gotten boiled into a liquid that LOOKED like coffee. Even smelled like it somehow, through some sort of miracle or something. She'd lost the actual coffee on the way back, and some part of her temper had snapped, leading to this.
If Yuan turned around, and saw her eyes, he'd know something was wrong. The look was... Not quite insane. But it had both infinite cold, and incredible wrath in it at the same time. An infinitely more concentrated version of the glare that had made hardened criminals curl up into a fetal position by itself in the past.

All has been quite in the Renegade base. Alicia was out getting coffee, and Angie was out getting some dragon talons for him. He knew this peace would never last for long, after all, he only sent them away for that little peace he wished. To escape away from the brutal fights the two got into, and the irritation of trying to tech Alicia on how to properly stand in a defensive stance. Both woman seem to wear his patience down and increase his ange than usual. If it wasn't for Botta, he was sure to strip the two, tie them to a pole, stab them with extremely hot pokers, lash their back twenty times, and give them welts that would take MONTHS to heal.
Of course that would have happened 4,000 years ago, and would be considered a bit too harsh in this time. Even to some of the Desians.
Scribbling on the new paperwork that Botta had given to him after the 'buried paperwork' time in the Sylvarant Base. He sighs in annoyance, as he rubs his temples for a few seconds to subside the headache forming and continues to plunge into reading them. Being oh so careful in reading them, and oh so plotting of burning them at his table at the moment....
Not even hearing the formal two knocks of a soldier presenting themselves before Yuan, he smiles slightly at knowing one of two whom it is. Not even looking up at the person before him, he examines their mana signiture before they even speak. Knowing full well that it's Alicia, or Miss Alicia as Yuan calls her.
"Oh Yuan~"
Yuan continues to scribble his name on the page, still ignoring Alicia's presence. His pointed ears catching the 'fake sweet' voice of hers. His face giving no recognition that he heard her words.
"I've got your 'coffee'~"
Yuan scribbles a small note on the margin of the paper and places it to the top right corner of his desk. His left hand sliding the coffee to the bottom right corner of the desk as he returns back to his paperwork. Not one glance at the woman, and no facial expression save a the look of harden face. His jade eyes reading along the pages as he continues doing this for ten minutes.
Feeling that he's ignored her for long enough, he doesn't look up but mearly waves his pen hand at Alicia.
"You may leave." Yuan says offhandedly. This is the part where Alicia a) yells at Yuan b) continues the sweet tone and tells him off c) swing her sword at Yuan d) threaten Yuan d) leave or e)other.
Either of them, he would be prepared. She won't be the only one whom would do those things. Soon.

What Yuan seemed to fail to realize when he tried to teach Alicia how to go into a defensive stance, was... That he was an idiot. Her stance was the way it was simply for ease of movement. Her fighting style concentrated on speed, not soaking up hits like some heavily armored tank. He was giving her advice that was both unneeded, and would actually have a negative impact on her fighting style.
And if he'd done the torture he'd been thinking of, there was no doubt that he would have ended up dead once it was done. Alicia would personally kill him, and not object to Angie's assistance. Even a Seraphim would be unable to withstand the wrath of Alicia... Much less Angie as well.
Alicia could almost hear her sanity snapping at Yuan's offhand dismissal of her. No acknowledgment of her existence, much less that she'd flown all the way to FREAKING ALTAMIRA to get that coffee. It took a great deal of effort to not simply softly walk up behind him, draw her sword in a blinding flash, and sever his spine. Oh, that was oh so very, very tempting at this moment.
As it was, her right eye twitched slightly. She said to him in a calm voice, "Of course, I'll leave, but there is one thing I'd like to clarify first." She strained to keep her voice pleasant, "In case you were not aware, I am not your slave, to be sent to fetch you drinks from across the world. I am someone who is here of my own free will alone, and will not be given orders to do things that do not help the cause one bit."
She then continued, "If you had sent me to acquire, say, a part for a machine here, then I certainly would have been quite happy to do it. Or really anything that would actually help anything." She hoped he had the common sense to answer. And the common sense to not ask her to get coffee again. For she WOULD poison it, with the most deadly substance known to man, elf, or angel. No matter what it took to find out what it was that would with no doubt whatsoever cause Yuan to die slowly, painfully, and incurably. Or... No, that would be too merciful. She would leave out the dying part, just leave him in eternal agony. Even if angels couldn't normally feel pain, she'd find out what could override that.

Yuan continues in his work, feeling the air shiver at the woman's rage. Naturally, years of practice, Yuan mearly shrugged the feeling off and kept a straight face on. She would never be the first peson to glare glaciers into his soul. Anna being one of them, and my can that woman show her anger. As usual, Yuan laughed in her face and found himself almost getting slapped by her. Reflexes kept the red hand print from his face.
Contrary to popular belief, Yuan does in fact feel pain. Quite a few had witnessed it, like when the wound he got in Hima from Kratos caused him to be unable to aprehend Lloyd and his group. It was quite unfortuant for his part, but so far they're playing into something quite useful towards himself.
"Of course, I'll leave, but there is one thing I'd like to clarify first."
The straining of her voice made Yuan give a small snort. His pen placed on the desk, and his elbows propped up and his hands held clasped up with his jaw sitting in between. The look of his full attention on Alicia, a small polite smile on his face.
"In case you were not aware, I am not your slave, to be sent to fetch you drinks from across the world. I am someone who is here of my own free will alone, and will not be given orders to do things that do not help the cause one bit."
Yuan raises an eye brow at the words of Alicia. Obviously his little fake errand has caused her to be felt like a slave. A natural feeling for a noble.
"If you had sent me to acquire, say, a part for a machine here, then I certainly would have been quite happy to do it. Or really anything that would actually help anything."
Yuan mearly laughs at her responds, the usual cynicle smile on his face. His jade eyes filling with amusement at her words. If only she knew why he actually sent her on that little errand. Perhaps he'll tell her, after he's played a little bit with her.
"Miss Alicia, you obviously haven't realized what you've signed up for." Yuan says lightly, a chuckle escaping his lips. Sitting back in his chair, folds his arms over his crossed legs. "You can say that your joining the Renegades is slavery~"
"But tell me. I've seem to have forgotten why you joined my little organization..." Yuan says, humor still in his tone.
Let's see if she uses the word, justice...sacrifice..revenge..and oh my favorite, equality~

Alicia's face remained perfectly calm as Yuan spoke, but the ice in her eyes became even colder. Her rage had reached entirely new levels... But she wouldn't snap. That would mean he would win. No, she wouldn't let that happen. Not a chance.
The entire base was likely vacated at this point apart from them. Her cold, icy fury seemed to be an actual force, that brought everything down to below absolute zero temperatures. "So," she said, "I'm just a toy to you? A pawn, in your little game? Tell me, do you actually care in the least if Cruxis manages to be overthrown? Or, perhaps, are your reasons simply personal?"
She laughed, "Remember though, those you think you are pawns, do have minds of their own. And some, you won't figure out at first glance. And even some toys, can be dangerous when you handle them the wrong way~" A threat. A challenge. "I'm sure you expect some cliche speech for my reasons, one that I'm not going to give. You haven't forgotten my reasons since I first said them, and I'm not going to bother wasting my breath on it. However, why don't you tell me yours?" Her eyes stared straight into his. "Tell me what would motivate you to lead this cause, and then treat the ones who are honestly doing their best for it as little more than toys to play with, as you've been obviously attempting with me."

Simply personal. mmm.. In a way it could be considered personal, but nevertheless, his intentions concerns everyone. Though a pawn? Really, he thought of her nothing of the such. Nor did he think of her as a toy. Amusement perhaps. A breathe of reality, mostly. A pain in the ass? Hell yes.
Yuan keeps his attention on Alicia, listening to her words with a simple nod here and there. She truely does know how to say the right words, but this game of chess he dispises in losing.
"I just don't trust you, Miss Alicia." Yuan says bluntly, sitting forward in his chair. One elbow propped on the table with the two fingers keeping his face up. The other arm laying perpindicular to the upward arm. "So far you've only had two missions. Both not ending so well."
Yes. The mission in the Martel Temple, and the Altamira. Well, the Altamira one wouldnt' be concidered, but he's getting to the point. Pressing a black button his desk, he awaits for an officer to come. Not that Alicia would know that, considering that Angie's 'silence' in the base has remained for the time. Her knows what goes on in his base, to an extent at least.
"The Martel Temple one failed horribly when you ended up in a cage, making yourself useless. Than in Altamira." Yuan says, not even bothering to tell why she failed in the Altamira. Allowing that portion to be said later.
"Miss Alicia. The reason I had this organization come to be, was a personal matter and self realization. After serving Mithos for over 2,000 years, I realized that all that he's doing is foolish, wasteful, and wrong." Yuan says, looking straight into Alicia's eyes. Full sincerity in his eyes and words. "I did it at first for the eternal rest of late fiance, Martel. After making this place, I slowly started to feel...alive. I realized how each man's lives in this base is worth."
Yuan's eyes look past to the door, before looking at Alicia.
"Far more than mine....and yours." Yuan says straight forwardly to the woman. Leaning back in his chair, he smiles the cynicle smiles of his. "But don't worry Alicia. My luck is about run out. It's only a matter of time before Mithos finds out of my betray and does away with me."
"I'm sure you'll be happy then." Yuan says, leaning into the desk with a laugh. Yes, his death may come. Something he's had planned for a long time. He would not have this organization come to an end with his death.

He didn't trust her? She barely held back a laugh. She didn't trust him! Not in the least. He certainly hadn't given her much reason to do so thus far. Two missions not ending well? She interrupted, "Oh yes, how did I not notice that wall behind me? And I so should have expected it to move and drop me through a trap door which somehow led me to a room on the same floor. I'm so sorry Lord Yuan, I will make sure to grow eyes in the back of my head and learn how to recognize trap walls on sight." The way she'd said "Lord Yuan" was such that it rather obviously wasn't meant as a title of respect.
Then, Yuan explained why he'd made the organization. Alicia slowly calmed down as he explained... The comment about other's lives being so much more important than hers, or his, irked her however. Who was he to judge that they were more than her? Himself, he might be in some position to judge on... She wasn't arrogant to think that she was more important than the others here, but the way he'd said it... Perhaps she was just reading too much into the phrasing.
Once he'd finished, adding a comment saying that she'd probably be glad if he got killed. Before she'd calmed down... Yes. Very much so. Now? She let out an annoyed sigh, "No, I won't be happy if you die. After all, who'd lead the Renegades if you were gone?"

The smiles does not leave his face. Perhaps he was happy, or maybe it was mearly a roose to not let Alicia see any falter in his mood. Quite frankly he was getting annoyed by her mouthing off at him. Nobles. Never liked being ordered around or told simple truth. Perhaps she didn't see the trapped wall behind her, but he did say that she should stay behind and away from the suspicios room after all.
"Miss Alicia. If I remember correctly, I did tell you to stay behind and away from the room with the trapped wall. Did I not?" Yuan says, his memory not being the slightest foggy about that. Since he remembered that time for a reason.
Than he hears her talk about how she would not be happy if he died. Yuan chuckles at her comment on who would lead the renegades.
"If anything, Botta would take charge." Yuan says, not wanting to speak any further on his 'just in case' plan. He is after all, the man with the plan. Even if they might not work out as well, but this plan he's worked out for hours and days. Actually it's still being refined and the such.
With a hiss, the soldier he sent for comes into the room after the two usual knocks. Saluting to Yuan and not giving a glance to Alicia, Yuan waves for him to stop the salute. Picking up the coffee, he smiles at the officer.
"Officer, 673459. Please have this coffee from Altamira as my gratitude for taking care of that sandworm with your squad." Yuan says, having remembered that a few mintues ago and he wasn't planning on drinking it anyway. So why throw away some good quality coffee?
"Ah..o-of course...-s-sir. I mean L-lord Yuan, Sir! Thank you!" The officer studders, saluting awkwardly and taking the drink in hand. Placing his jaw on his hand, he waves towards Alicia.
"Thank Miss Alicia, Commander...?" Yuan says, pausing after commander, the new title he's giving the man, for his name.
"Uh....Henry, sir.." Henry says with a small blush, holding the cup.
"Well Commander Henry, thank you for your services." Yuan says, waving him off as the man nods and tips his mug of 'coffee' towards Alicia with a smile. The mug coming up to his lips...

So, his argument was that he'd told her to stay back? Ha. That wasn't quite how she remembered it. "And if I recall correctly, you didn't seem to actually protest when I wanted to go on. You could simply have ordered me to stay behind, and I wouldn't have been stupid enough to push the issue too far.
He commented the Botta would probably take charge if he died, and didn't say anything else before someone came in and interrupted... Uh-oh. He was giving the coffee to someone else! By the time she'd processed this, the man was about to drink it.
"IjustrememberedIneeedtobesomewhere!" Alicia spoke in an obviously incredibly rushed, strained tone. She hadn't exactly had time to think of a better plan... Suddenly she jumped up and started dashing toward the door. Of course, she ended up tripping in such a way that she knocked into the unsuspecting man before he could drink any of the coffee. It all spilled on the floor.
"Oh, I'm so sorry!" she said quickly before getting up again and rushing off very quickly. Well, at least she'd managed to keep someone unsuspecting from drinking that "coffee." Unfortunately, in doing so, she'd ended up making a fool of herself and would probably end up being in trouble... Great. Oh if only she'd been able to think this through more...

Yuan wasn't the slightest pleased with how Alicia decided to continue their argument on the matter. It had been an order, but he supposed she didn't really take much respect towards what he said. He could just say something and his soldiers would understand that they'd better do it or else. It's better than him yelling the order out like usual, but that doesn't go so well with Alicia it would seem. He didn't decide to push the matter at the moment considering he a lot more on his mind at the time. Leaning back in his chair with his arms resting on his stomach, he looks at Alicia with a stern expression.
"Regardless, you should have known better yourself. Curiosity killed the cat, Miss Alicia." Yuan says gravely, thinking that Alicia was actually pretty stupid enough to push the issue. She had proven to be quite stubborn and very sassy on matters, well as he seems to think anyway.
Watching Henry starting to take a sip it isn't long before Alicia says something rather fast for him to hear. Something about she had to go somewhere that she had just finally remembered, which starts to make him wonder. What does she have to attend to? She didn't have any shifts to take care of, as far as he knew, and before he could think anymore on the matter she had sped past and tripped into the man. Causing the coffee to be spilled towards the Seraph, who with long years of reflexes seemed to fail him as he got a face full of 'Altamira Coffe'.
The moment it hit his face, he knew it was anything but coffee. This mass of 'stuff' was something obviously very atrocious that Alicia had hoped on Yuan drinking so that he would be payed back for giving her a bogus mission. Honestly, if she didn't like the mission she could have just told him out right, and he would have given her something else. Something that was useful, but that one was something he just came up on a whim for a few minutes of peace. Now sat here with this mysterious substance that Alicia had concocted, his patience, his sincerity in wanting to help Alicia had left the man. If anything he wanted to fry this girl into ashes, and Commander Henry could tell that. As traces of purple electricity seemed to come off Yuan in waves.
Yuan's infamous rage is well known between the rank of Renegade soldier, so the moment Henry saw this. He gave a quick bow, his leaving line, and fled from the room. What followed after him happened to be Yuan's paper work and his desk. Which happened to be smashed into pieces on its way down the hallway. Now many soldiers in the area would think that Commander Henry did something stupid, but the one word that rings from the Seraphs throat causes them all to look towards the fleeing woman. One thought coming to mind. 'Nice going dumbass, now we have to deal with the crap that you caused.'
"ALICIA!"
Because when Yuan was angry, many soldiers had to work over time to repair the damages done. Now it may seem odd that he's rather getting to angry for something like that, but this man had anger management problems. Standing there hunched looking out through the open door, it slides shut as Yuan hastily wipes the 'Altamira Coffee' from his face as the door slides back open. His body striding out with a very angry look on his face. The moment he sees Alicia, she is dead. He doesn't care, he will not take this disrespect! She should be thankful that he had decided to keep her and not turn her in to Cruxis, but this made the straw. He could take her little word games no problem, but when this 'crap' ends up on him. He thinking that it was actually coffee and was not, obviously showed that Alicia was nothing but an immature brat. Who can't handle things calmly and suck things up.
Her pride is what's going to kill her. If she can't things like an adult, and resort to such childish things. She's not going to make it in the word, because even if she doesn't like things. She'll have to do it sometimes. If Yuan has to watch Desians go through the procedures of creating an exsphere with several failed attempts over and over again. Watch countless innocent men and women die in front of his eye and make indication that he cared for them, then surely Alicia can suck up her pride and get some freakin coffee!
Thinking about all this seemed to make him even more angry. His blood pressure was no doubt rising, and it is rather unhealthy for him, but he was done.
