P E R S O N A L I T Y
Personality-wise, Maron is not exactly the brave type. He is a coward, though he usually sticks with Aya in battle. The first to flee a scene, Maron is weak and fears death. He is also a baby, and usually cowers under Aya's vest after being bashed of struck once. Though, Maron is somewhat intelligent, being more in-tune to the world than Aya is. Being able to sense monsters, he usually gives her small bits of advice, sometimes in the form of riddles.
Maron jokes around a lot, loving to get under people's skin. Often enough, he'll hide in an inconspicuous form (such as a rock) and play pranks. Though he tends to leave quickly, as he cannot sustain the form for long.
Maron is very stubborn and quite sour. He doesn't like new people, and hardly trusts anyone, only Aya. He thinks trust is something that needs to be earned rather than given. He jokes with Aya and all, and sometimes plays pranks, though he has a defined serious side. His personality is much like his form, which changes frequently.
A P P E A R A N C E:
Maron is a Protozoan that failed to compete its force. He is not complete and therefore is weaker than others. He also needs a constant supply on mana. When Tethe'alla is thriving, he is able to leach from the world to keep himself strong. However, when Tethe'alla is in decline, he is forced to hibernate until the Chosen completes the journey of regeneration. With Aya, Maron is able to feed off of her mana supply and aid her in battle.
Though Maron cannot fully complete a form, he can change shape. He is able to 'morph' his body into weapon and/or creatures, though he cannot retain this form for long. For instance, he is able to 'morph' is teeth into fangs that can be used on the opponent. He can also shift into small objects that may be of use. Such as a wrench or a rock. He cannot increase his size unless he swallows mass amounts of mana, which means he's stuck small, approximately the size of a handball. He is naturally blue is color with white eyes and dark pupils.

H I S T O R Y
Maron was created when the world began, as other Protozoans were. He though, failed to complete his first form, leading to his current condition. While other Protozoans sustained a full fledged body, he was unable to. Left as a 'blob-like' clump of condensed mana, he fled the others, concealing himself in a forest where he remained hidden. Reluctant to emerge, Maron buried himself deep within the Earth, cursing his incomplete form.
Reappearing thousands of years later, he remained in the same place, finely tuned to the world and its condition. Cautious, he hid whenever people approached. Acquiring the ability to change his jelly-like shape into various objects (due to the fact that he almost completed his first form, yet failed), he hid by temporarily taking the form of inanimate objects. He also attacked small monsters for food and mana, as he needed a constant supply when the world was in decline.
Eventually, Aya stumbled upon him. Though it took ages for him to finally approach her (it took years to give her his trust), they formed a pair. She helped him see some potential in himself. And he developed a joking personality with her. Now he stays with her and accompanies her as her companion (he refuses to be called her pet).

Maron doesn't have any specific spells, rather he simply transforms into what he sees fit. No casting is required for his transformations, though he does require mana.
One of his favorite things to do is form a set of razor sharp teeth, biting the opponent. Though, he usually doesn't execute this, as he is cowardly and despises getting close to the enemy, though it is his only method in attacking.
