As Lloyd walked through the forest, headed back toward his house, he realized something... There were no monsters around. None. Whether something had happened, or it was an odd coincidence, he had no idea, but... Why not go ahead and take advantage of the peace for a bit?
He saw a rock in the middle of a large clearing, where the sun shone down. It couldn't really hurt to take a short rest, could it? After all, it wasn't exactly a short walk back to his house.
The young boy walked over next to the rock, then sat down... And laid his head on it. As he sat there, he heard the rustling of the trees as the wind gently blew their leaves, felt the sun on his face... Of course, being Lloyd, he didn't actually think about any of this. HIs mind remained pretty much completely blank as he laid there, and really anything or anyone could have snuck up on him without much difficulty...

So there were no monsters around, but that didn't stop Tomonari from being worried still. He previously was sent by his father to Iselia to pick up some gald someone owed, and now was on his way back home. The boy nearly got lost a few times, but luckily, he managed to find his way down the right path. Rather, the short path to take. His head kept on turning to see if any monsters were going to pop out and attack him. If only he had a case of lycanthropy like his foster father, then perhaps this would have been easier. Of course, that would also have caused some problems he didn't want, since Tomonari was already a half elf.
Eventually, he made a wrong turn and came upon a clearing in which someone was lying down on the rock in the middle. Normally, Tomonari would have gotten scared and rush off, but something made him stay. His eyes came upon a familiar sight, despite him not knowing much about the person. Thinking for a moment, the teenager looked at the boy resting on the rock, and it slowly became clear to him. "Huh? Isn't he that Lloyd Irving guy that left with the Chosen?", Tomonari asked himself. He was rather surprised to see someone like Lloyd here, despite the fact that Professor Sage had also come back to Iselia. Hesistating at first, Tomonari took a step from out of the bushes to get closer.
However, his presence was easily known, due to his clumsy nature. Tomonari had tripped over, and fell face first onto the ground, "AAH!" His body remained there, and the half elf let out a small groan of pain, and slowly got back up. Tomonari also forgot that Lloyd was there.

Suddenly, a noise, well, a shout, rang through the forest, disturbing the peace. "AAH!" Lloyd jumped up, "What was that?" Then, he saw someone, who appeared to be getting up off of the ground after the fall. Lloyd thought he recognized him... After a moment of thinking, he realized who it was. His name was Tomonari, right?
"Hey Tomo!" called Lloyd, as he walked over toward the other boy. "You alright?" Lloyd hadn't really gotten to know the other boy that well before he'd left with Colette all that time ago, but he was just a friendly person, who felt fine acting so familiar with someone he barely knew.

He was now sitting on his knees, and was wiping some of the dirt off his face and clothes. Though most his age wouldn't have been hurting much at this point, Tomonari wasn't exactly built for physical work, or pain. The teenager remained quiet for a moment, looking at the ground. Despite not being brutally injured, the teenager was still worried. But then again, he worried too much on a daily basis. Since he wasn't paying much attention, the half elf jumped when Lloyd called out to him. Looking up, the boy quickly stood on his feet, and wiped off the dirt on the rest of his clothes. His attention was now fully on Lloyd, and Tomonari responded, "I-I'm fine..." So this Irving kid wasn't exactly mad at the half elf for disturbing him, but Tomonari felt bad for it still.
Remaining quiet, the boy looked at Lloyd worriedly. His eyes wandered off a little as he tried to think of something to say. Looking back up at the other boy, Tomonari said, "D-did I disturb you? I-I'm sorry.." The half elf looked down at the ground, expecting Lloyd to yell or something. Of course, being a half elf was the least of his worries right now, especially since he didn't have any real physical traits of an elf.

The other boy said that he was fine, "Well, that's good~" responded Lloyd cheerfully. However, Tomo still looked worried about something, and Lloyd looked at him confused. But then, the boy asked if he'd disturbed Lloyd, and apologized.
"Nah, don't worry about it." Lloyd responded, "What are you doing out here? I was going to visit my dad myself. Lloyd was of course happy to talk with someone else out here even as he was relaxing. While he waited for a response, the forest remained peaceful, the breeze rustling the leaves, the birds chirping... It seemed as if nothing could happen to really disturb it right now.

"O-okay...", was the boy's response when Lloyd told him not to worry about it. He was still uneasy, due to his overly apologetic nature. Tomonari definately was not what someone would think of as the son of an enormous, hulking werewolf, but things weren't always what they seemed. The half elf remained silent, trying to think of something to say. He looked down at the ground for a few moments, and then looked back up at Lloyd. No matter how long he was in the same classroom as Lloyd, the boy never really talked to him. He shifted a little, and eventually opened his mouth to speak, "U-um, I-I was just coming back from Iselia. Someone owed m-my dad some money, and told me to go pick it up."
He didn't know how much further Lloyd had to go, but Tomonari knew his own home wasn't too far away. It was a peaceful day, but that didn't stop the boy from worrying about monsters. The teenager looked at Lloyd like he was about to say something else, but remained quiet yet again. Eventually though, Tomonari began to speak once more, "I-If it's alright, c-can you walk to my house with me. I-I'm not the bravest person in the world, a-and if a monster attacked me, I wouldn't be able to defend myself easily." The teenager thought this would be a heavy burden on Lloyd, but would just have to wait and see what the response would be.
