'*hums Mission: Impossible theme*'
The Asgard ranch was one of the most heavily guarded of the Desian Ranches. Kvar's ranch being that of an exsphere manifacturing place and as such needed the extra security for the fragil products being made inside. Considering that Kvar's ranch was the main source of exspheres being made, and it was quiet the demand with new recrutes for the Desian position. Opression against half-elves becoming an every day occurance. Now that once bustling ranch is nothing more than a pile of rubble. The Regeneration group sweeping into the ranch and obliterating it behind their steps on their way to the Tower of Salvation. That kind of thing wasn't much of an occurance dealing with the Chosen, but that didn't mean there were points in time when it did happen. Though as always, Yuan was left to survey the damage and take control over the few surviving Desians. Looking at the damage taken on the ranch, there was no doubt about it. The ranch was not salvagable what so ever. The foundation of the ranch could not be used any longer, being nothing more than a pile of rocks. The metal pieces of the ranch could be salvaged and melted into new parts, but everything else was nothing usable. All magitechnology are garbage and only a save few could be used for a rebuilt one. All in all, this place would have to be built from scratch. Just like the other ranches besides Forceystus's. If anything, they would have to re-stationed at Forceystus's ranch while the the new ranches are rebuilt. Though, as it stands. Mithos might not give the command for that, considering that the Chosen is running around in Tethe' Alla, the mana is being reversed. Since the Chosen went through the process of becoming an angel, the slowl changes of the flow of mana was becoming evident at the small building of the mana. Yuan rubs his eyes with a weary sigh, before crossing his arms and continueing to survey as the Desians salvage for any exspheres that remain while some others stand around to keep watch for any monsters. His own ears and mana sensing pricked for any signs of the monsters as well. "Stupid Mithos." Yuan mutters under his breath. Every single time, it was Yuan who had to deal with the dirt work while Kratos prances around Tethe' Alla 'keeping an eye' on the Chosen's group. If he didn't have insider of the group, he would have gone mad with curiousity on what the hell is going on there while he's stuck here babysitting some Desians. "Sir..." A Desian says, with a slight hesitation at the mood Yuan was desplaying. The only thing showing being the frowned look on his face. "What the hell do you want!" Yuan says pevishly, his patience thining and his anger rising. The Desian steps back with fear, unsure of how to react and what to say next. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

"Over here! I found one!"
Scooping up a handful of earth in his hands, delicately Visk brushed the smooth surface of the exsphere as he wiped the dirt off of it. Dropping the cleaned gem into the outstretched palm of his left hand, discarding the leftover soil and letting it drop back down to the ground below. Such a powerful and precious stone... it was a miracle it had survived the explosion.
Scavenging. That was what the once mighty Desians of the Asgard Ranch had been reduced to. Deprived of their home, their friends, their security! All because of that terrorist! Lloyd Irving! The humans down in Luin were singing his praises, heck, thanks to his "charitable" donations they were living even better than they were now! Yes. Donations pilfered from honest Desian corpses no doubt. No-one asked where Lloyd got his money, nor the stone that made him so frighteningly powerful. They'd accept anything from Llloyd... all simply because he had a human face.
Living off wild animals and plants, cowering beneath the wreckage of their once grand lodgings in fear of human raiding parties, he and his fellow kinsmen were left living in fear of their lives. The closest human ranch to Asgard by land was Palmacosta, and they'd already heard of that massacre from some of the survivors. Who'd fled towards Asgard after it's destruction.
Cut off from their chain of command, stranded within the declining world, Visk was starting to despair at the hopelessness of their situation. Exspheres, they were their only protection now. If they could just hoard enough exspheres, maybe they'd be able to repair one of the old communications terminals and send out a distress signal of some kind - anything! They needed to get back in touch with Cruxis... they were lost without the guidance of the angels.
Oh lady Martel, I pray to thee... please, help us carry on...
Receiving no response despite his cry, Visk sat up from his position hunched among the support beams of the once safe haven. His eyes widening in disbelief at what he saw. Lord Yuan! Lord Yuan of the 4 seraphim! One of the 4 leaders of Cruxis itself! Moving from a crouching posture to standing to attention in one hurried movement, hope rising in his chest Visk sprinted over towards the angel as fast as he could. Slowing to a halt in front of him and saluting - still in awe of the sheer status of the being stood before him.
"Lord Yuan! Sir!" He saluted smartly, taking over where his anxious comrade had left off. "It is a great honor to meet you in person sir, and a relief! We've attempted to compile a report on exactly what happened here based on all available data... would you like to hear it?" Visk felt glad he was wearing his helmet, lest his eyes be seen and his anxiety be shown. One of the 4 seraphim! He'd never even seen an angel before... not in person. And he'd only ever had brief contact with Kvar. Yet standing here before him was someone higher and holier than anyone else. One of the 4 most powerful and holy beings to descend from heaven! How hard it was to sound efficient, when you were attempting to impress a god.

'Why me?....'
Yuan looks at the Desian before taking a deep breath with his eyes closed and calming his nerve. He was here to guide the half-elf survivors, and he won't get much response with snapping at them. Fluttering her eyes open, he regains his calm composure and waves at the Desian to continue at what he was about to say. "Lord Yuan, sir!" The Desian says with a salute, after regaing his composure at Yuan's outburst. "We've been able to find some exspheres and there aren't many items to salvage at the demolish site. What will you have us do?"Yuan gives the man a thoughtful look. Right, they've been surving on their own for the past weeks. Having to use the forest for cover and the demolition to keep any human raiders from coming around. They no doubt would be scared witless at not being sure what to do now with Kvar dead, nor any surving captains that would take charge like this. "Tell the others to get ready for a long trip. You're all going to be stationed at the Forceystus ranch until other wise told." Yuan replies calmly with the Desian giving a salute as he rushes of to tell the others. Turning his attention back to the many Desians languably walking around the demolish site, he's able to take a few minutes of silence before hearing the crunching of footsteps. "Lord Yuan! Sir!" Exclaims another Desian carrying a lance. Yuan sighs as he soon comes to realize that there's going to be a lot of 'Lord Yuan, sir!' today. Perhaps he should have just worn a Desian high commander outfit just look like some Desian that was sent from another ranch to inspect what's happned. "It is a great honor to meet you in person sir, and a relief! We've attempted to compile a report on exactly what happened here based on all available data... would you like to hear it?"Yuan could only look at the man with a weary look, already getting the feeling of a very long discriptive report. After all, why would they want it to be short and look like they haven't done much. What better way to impress him by giving out a long detailed report~! Yuan represes a grimace at the remininsce of that happening to him long ago at the start of the Renegades. Knowing that the man would be let down and news would travel of the disapointing news about him, he gives a small smile of ressurance and becons for him to continue. Oh dear Volt! Don't let this drag on! [/blockquote][/blockquote]

A smile... was that a go-ahead to deliver his report? It must be, what else could he be trying to tell him. Sweating with anxiety under his armor, Visk took in a deep breath and coughed to clear his throat. "Sir, according to rumors from the nearby town of Luin, as well as a disturbing report from some survivors from the Palmacoasta Ranch, we believe sir that the culprit for this crime is the wanted criminal Lloyd Irving." Stopping to take a deep breath, during this pause Visk also heard one of his comrades talking about something in the background.
"Everyone pack up! We're taking refuge at the Iselia Ranch, a long way away from here! Lord Yuan's orders!"
That at least meant he could avoid asking Yuan some of the many questions floating around in his head. It also sent a surge of relief through him - they were going somewhere safe. "He once visited the ranch previously - but escaped with the aid of an emissary from Tethe'alla. During that time we were able to verify that he is using a high-grade exsphere stolen from the angelus project. One of Grand Cardinal Kvar's-" Visk paused. "... one of former Grand Cardinal Kvar's research projects..."
Looking around at the devastation, Visk let out a depressed sigh. "And other than that, we haven't been able to find any additional data... the Ranch as you can see has been completely wrecked." Still fingering the salvaged exsphere in his left hand, polishing the gem with his finger as a way to vent his tension, Visk found himself at a loss for words. There was so much more he wanted to ask, and yet at the same time he was all too conscious of how important a person he was keeping waiting. Opening his mouth as if to speak again, he then quickly closed it as his speech deserted him.
Curses, he'd shown a sign of weakness.

'Guess that was okay.'
Yuan can see the man fidget under his gaze, a deep breath and a good cough from Visk the man began his report. "Sir, according to rumors from the nearby town of Luin, as well as a disturbing report from some survivors from the Palmacoasta Ranch, we believe sir that the culprit for this crime is the wanted criminal Lloyd Irving."Ah Lloyd Irving. Amusment appears in Yuan's eyes with a small smile. His first encounter with the boy was something to remember. That boy and his old friend both have the same eyes, and stubborn attitude. Aurions. They always got under his skin. Catching the Desian calming his nerves before continueing he catches the exclaimation from the earlier Desian. "Everyone pack up! We're taking refuge at the Iselia Ranch, a long way away from here! Lord Yuan's orders!""He once visited the ranch previously - but escaped with the aid of an emissary from Tethe'alla. During that time we were able to verify that he is using a high-grade exsphere stolen from the angelus project. One of Grand Cardinal Kvar's-"Pause"... one of former Grand Cardinal Kvar's research projects..."Yes, that exsphere that was suppose to bump Kvar up to the leader of the Grand Cardinals position by presenting it to Mithos. Though he never was interested in exspheres he did; however, wonder what made the Angelus Project different from every other exsphere. It did show to have more power than an average exsphere, and if Yuan remembers correctly, it was suppose to eventually evolve into a special Cruxis Ctystal. Now that's something that would gain the Seraphim's interest. "And other than that, we haven't been able to find any additional data... the Ranch as you can see has been completely wrecked." Yuan nods, gazing at the half-elf to see if he has anything more to say to him. Watching Visk open and close his mouth in a lost of words, Yuan couldn't help but chuckle at the man. It wasn't unusual to find a soldier looking like a fish when trying to find the right words to say next. Wanting to have every Desian pack up and get going, he attempts at ending the conversation. "Good." Yuan says off handedly, his eyes looking at all the other Desians scraping around to get their stuff. Turning his attention back to Visk, he gives an awkward pat on the shoulder. He never was good at providing comfort in times of despair. "Get ready for the trip, you all are leaving at dusk."Giving a small nod at Visk, Yuan turns to walk into the center of the people. His hands behind his back as he looks around at the some soldiers just lazying about. "Get Moving! You're leaving at Dusk!" Yuan barks at the Desians, his eyes looking up to find the small opening to the sky to see the sun moving out of sight. It'll be a few hours before dusk, but that doesn't mean these soldiers aren't going to be super lazy. Moving over towards the demolished ranch, Yuan leans on the one piece of metal sticking up from the ground. Glancing at the rushing Desians with a lack of interest, before closing his eyes to take a small rest. Hopefully from what he's said they'll realize that he's not going to join them in their little trek across Sylvarant. He already has to deal with his Renegades and Mithos, and having to deal with this lot is enough to make any man go insane. "Lord Yuan, sir!"Yuan snaps open his eyes to glare at the man, his eye twitching. This is going to be a very loooong day.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

"Good."
There, that didn't go so bad. Breathing a sigh of relief, Visk visibly relaxed, but then tensed up again as Lord Yuan reached over and patted him on the shoulder! Shocked by this surprising act - from one of the 4 sacred seraphim no less, Visk wasn't at all sure how to interpret it. Was it a blessing? A gesture of compassion? A reassurance?
"Get ready for the trip, you all are leaving at dusk."
You all are? Lord Yuan's words had been very select, it implied that he wouldn't be coming along with them. Nevertheless, Visk was still so blown away by having met and spoken to someone of such stature, turning around he began to walk over towards the Exsphere stockpile with a bemused look in his hidden eyes. Feeling like a prophet pounced on by a wandering god.
Nodding to the two guards who were keeping watch over the stockpile - a scorched metal crate containing all the exspheres they had manage to salvage to this date, Visk leaned over and carefully placed the gem in amongst a sea of others. 28, there were in total now. While a small number in material terms, each one was the culmination of months, sometimes years of time and effort working humans through painful and menial exercises. Such sinful and prejudiced creatures... it was strange to look upon objects of such beauty and think that they had come from beings so corrupt.
Transporting them would be a trial in itself. Especially over such a long distance - Iselia was practically on the other side of the world. And he had no doubt there would be humans eager to take out their prejudices on them should they drop their guard, to say nothing of the Renegades. If they got wind of the fact that there were 28 Exspheres being shipped by a convoy of barely a dozen Desians, they'd no doubt make a move, misguided as they were. It was going to be a perilous journey, especially running on scavenged supplies, but the promise of a new Ranch - another stronghold of sanity within the chaos of this twisted world was the only thing he and his comrades had left to drive them. Nothing remained for them elsewhere except oppression and hatred.
Walking back out into the main encampment, looking around at his comrades gathering together what ingredients they had for cooking, weapons, medicinal supplies, it was heart-wrenching to look upon his Desian brothers, the only ones he had left following the Ranch's destruction, and know that this might be his final mission with them. Clutching hold of his lance tightly, Visk mentally tried to envision how he might react to certain scenarios they might face - if they stayed in a group together, they might be able to intimidate most human parties into believing them to be part of the main force. And in small numbers, humans were rarely difficult to deal with anyway.
It was the Renegades, really, reluctant as he was to admit it. His own kind were right now both his greatest allies, and his ultimate threat. He couldn't possibly try to predict such a scenario in his mind, he needed practice.
"Hey, comrade! Spar with me."
He called over to one of his idle allies, many of them stricken by the same restless anticipation as he was. One of them walking over to him and unsheathing his sword. Placing both hands on the grip of his lance, Visk began to circle his battle partner warily, ready to parry should he strike out with his sword. His partner lunging forwards, exactly as planned, Visk bent down and began to mutter under his breath, "One," on cue, he took a jump back, avoiding the strike, "two..." before lunging forwards himself, thrusting his lance upwards and slapping his adversary's hand with the flat end of the blade, "three!" his opponent recoiling in pain, Visk then swung his lance in an arc and dealt the blade a blow that made the metal ring, knocking it out of his partner's grasp.
His opponent giving him a respectful nod, Visk returning the gesture out of courtesy, his gaze began to drift around the camp once more. Now he needed a new partner...

"Lord Yuan, sir!"
Yuan takes a step back, his hands behind him to find the cold surface of the metal gate. He had already previously fled from his later standing, to find himself cournered by the over zelous Desians that crowd around him at the moment. All sporting a happy smile as they stare at the Seraphim. This is what Yuan gets for showing just a hint of 'affection' towards some Desian. This would be the last time he ever provided comfort.
The bluenette was never a patient man, and his anger was always short. Already he was getting frustrated by the crowding of the Desians with their chattering. Yuan is claustrophobic, so with the crowding of bodies was starting to make the Serpahim lose his sanity.
"Lord Yuan, sir? Are you okay?" Asks one Desian soldier as he places his hand on Yuan's shoulder. That setting the half-elf off in a frenzied rush to get away.
"I'm fine!" Yuan quickly says as he bulldozes through the group of Desians. That desplay showing that 4,000 years of living doesn't make you the sanist person in the world. Surprisingly, Yuan's been able to at least keep a shred of his sanity, Origin knows how.
Whipping his hands on his white pants, he quickly walks as far as he can go. If Mithos suddenly changes his mind about Yuan going with the Desians, he's not so sure how he's going to survive the trip. When he thinks about it, the Desian wouldn't know what to do about getting there and how to transport the remaining exsphers that they posses. There's also the fact of getting provision for the journey, the monsters, bandits, and so on and so forth.
It's one of these points that Yuan wishes he was back at the Renegades base so that he could abuse some of the soldier to release his frustration. At first the Renegades where inthralled that Yuan was sparing with them, until they found themselves beaten into a sparking pulp. Th spars ranging from his electric punches, to the sword, his Swallow, a spear, and other weapons.
Looking over he finds some Desians sparing together, finding the Desian that had given him the report win a spar. Smiling to himself, he claps his hand as he walks over towards Visk.
"Good job. Would you give me the honors to a spar?" Yuan says with a suave smile.
Time to beat the frustration out and get those Desians to stop bugging me

His gaze continuing to drift around the camp, Visk's eyes once more spotted Lord Yuan, surrounded by the majority of the other Desian forces, all from the looks of it as excited as he had been to meet to angel above angels for the first time. Raising an eyebrow beneath his helmet, Visk realized that Yuan had been watching him, watching the fight. And now... now he was walking towards him.
"Good job. Would you give me the honors to a spar?"
Thank Martel for the helmet. Lord Yuan as it turned out was full of surprises, and this was by far the most shocking of all. A battle? With one of the 4 holy seraphim? It was indeed an incredible honor... but also a terrifying prospect, since he had no idea of the motivation behind it. Kvar had been ruthless, if he challenged someone to a battle, it was often to the death. Was Lord Yuan the same?
Giving a simple nod for fear of being unable to respond again, Visk tightened his grip on his lance and pointed it forwards in a battle-ready position. Ready to lunge or parry depending on what weapon his ultimate opponent might try to use. Alas, he had no idea what to expect, or even if to expect a weapon at all. Subconsciously, the lack of sound also alerted him to the fact that he was being watched. Every Desian having ceased whatever they were doing in favor of watching this battle - watching a battle between soldier and angel.
Once again, he thanked Martel that he was faceless. Just another helmeted soldier. Without that mask of steel confidence, he wasn't sure he could stand and face this challenger from heaven eye-to-eye.

Yuan couldn't help but smile when Visk nodded his head, his smile slightly coming off as a cynical kind of way. Keeping his eye on Visk, Yuan starts to circle the man. Sizing him up before pulling at the clasp on his cloak and tossing it to a random Desian soldier. He could remember the mistake he made long ago by wearing his cape in battle. He didn't lost, but it humilated him that his opponent used it to obscure his vision by grabbing his cloak and wrapping it around his head. He remember feeling something his hit gut and he just colapsed on the ground. Very humilliating.
Despite losing his cape, Yuan didn't stop circling the half-elf. Keeping his shoulder pointed at his opponent but his lower-half facing towards the Desian crowd. Not only was he going to be able to beat his frustration out, but he was going to see if he's gotten rusty. It's a great way of broadening his fighting capabilities towards different people and their weapons.
His jade eyes narrow down in anticipation of the boy's attack. Stopping after a few seconds of circling Visk, Yuan smiles as he stands there. His sword visably now that the cape is gone.
"Ready?" Yuan asks with a hint of amusment in his voice. His jade eyes glinting with humor against his now passive face. Only a hint of a small smile now on his face.

"Ready?"
Tightening his grip on the exsphere-encrusted lance in his hands, Bluheim swallowed back what emotion he could. Entering into that alert, remorseless state that came with battle. Adrenaline surging through his veins as he prepared himself for the fight of his life. The gem in the back of his hand shimmering as he tilted the spear downwards, Visk knew he was as ready as he'd ever be.
"Let us begin."
Pointing his spear up at Lord Yuan, his stance hunched and tense, ready to leap back or parry, Visk's eyes flitted about, sizing up his opponent. Attempting to spot any weaknesses... any gaps in Lord Yuan's defence that he might exploit. His usual strategy was to read his opponent like a song, learn their beat, and then move to it. But for that, he needed his opponent to make the first move. If he rushed in with a flurry of thrusts, it was his battle style that would be read first. And exploited in turn. He had to goad Yuan into making the attack... even with the knowledge that Yuan's attack might in fact be his forte.
Inching backwards as he circled, slowly retreating to a "safe" distance, letting go of his lance with one hand, the one housing the exsphere, he began to wave it through the air in front of him in a system of movements not unlike a conductor orchestrating music. His lips parting breathlessly as he chanted under his breath. "May Celsius take you! Icicle!" He shouted out suddenly, opening his hand out and pointing it in Yuan's direction - the ground around his feet beginning to crack as a frozen spike formed of mana erupted upwards.
With any luck, it would hit it's target and give him a bit of frostbite. However, it's true purpose was meant to pressure Yuan into closer range. The threat of being bombarded by spells from a distance hopefully driving him to attack the source - up close and personal. He could only hope to himself that that was a wise idea.

"Let us begin."
Watching Visk get into a battle position, Yuan bends his knees. Keeping one foot on his toes while the other slides to the side; the look of amusment on his face. He stands there waiting for Visk to make a move, and nearly laughs out at what Visk does. Yuan could feel the mana swelling up around Visk, unsure of what the spell is going to be.
"May Celsius take you! Icicle!"
Yuan snorts as he makes a quick jumping side-setp to the right with another quick one to get a little more distance with the spell. His right hand held out with the sparks of purple electricity dance at his hand.
"Than allow Volt to return the greating! Lightning!" Yuan says snarky. The flashes of purple lightning striking down in the area where Visk is. Not caring if the strike hit him or not, Yuan rushes off towards Visk with his hand on the hilt. Coming at Visk from a low rush, Yuan skids to a stop before unsheathing his sword to go towards Visk's jaw.

As expected, Lord Yuan was easily able to avoid his spell. A simple leap to the side enough to clear it, the icicle spiking up out of the ground but hitting no target. Bluheim felt a slight dizziness as the spell consumed a small portion of his mana. Watching Lord Yuan warily for his next move.
Unfortunately, it seemed that Yuan had either seen through his strategy or was enacting one of his own; counterattacking with his own magic spell.
"Than allow Volt to return the greating! Lightning!"
Lightning! Shocked by how quickly Yuan had been able to cast his spell - no doubt the result of centuries of magical experience, Visk barely had time to crouch down and begin to dodge, when the lightning thundered down and struck him. His body vibrating violently as volts of electricity surged through it, his nerves screaming out in agony as they were each overloaded.
"Gaaaaaaaaaaaah!"
Collapsing to his knees when the attack at last ceased to assail him - knowing that without the exsphere grafted to his right hand, his body would never have held together through such an attack, turning his distorted gaze upwards, lights still dancing in his field of vision, he saw Lord Yuan charging towards him. Once again caught in a life-or-death situation with barely any time to react.
Wrapping his arms around his lance, the stunned Desian rolled his body to the left, avoiding the charge of the disgruntled angel by only a hair's breadth. Sitting up into a half-crouch, his gaze still impaired by dancing sparks, acting on instinct Visk thrust his spear forwards in the first strike of one of his own techniques -
"Diamond Concerto!"
Following up the thrust with a leaping uppercut aimed at Yuan's blade, Visk then dropped back down to earth spinning around in a horizontal 360 circle, aimed with the intention of either breaking or depriving Lord Yuan of his sword. If he could disarm his opponent, Visk hoped he might be able to call the match off via that technicality - just as he had done with his last opponent.

Yuan was surprised at Visk being able to dodge his charge, by a hair, but what made it most surprising was when he was hit with the lightning. Most soldiers would be to disorented by the attack, and he could get another hit by knocking him on his back. Right after Yuan's attack, Visk countered with his own.
Yuan took a step back, being able to deflect the first attack, but failed to notice that was mearly to catch his guard off as Visk crouched to the ground and deliverd a 360 degree cut to his sword. Quickly knocking it out of Yuan's hand out of surprise.
Not wanting to get attack by Visk any long, with no weapon in hand, he does a back flip to get out of range. Landing with his knees bent, Yuan holds out his right hand as he concentrates at the molecules in the air. Soon a green energy appears at his hand, forming a large two ended blade.Waiting as it fully materialize, he grips the handle as the weight of the blade activates. Swining it behind him, he smirks at Visk; whom probably thought the fight ended with him being disarmed from his sword.
Never being the patient one of the Seraphim, Yuan charges forward once again. His blade tailing behind him as he quickens his speed.
Slicing his blade horizontal, he twirls around to give a jab towards Visk's stomach. Giving a few more jabs and slices randomly towards Visk, never letting up on the attack except for the seventh one. Jumping back, he quick runs around Visk before facing his back and twirling his blade in hand, purple mana concentrating at the handle of his Swallow. Getting ready to cast a Thunder Blade.
Let's see what he'll do next.

Success!
To Visk's tremendous relief, with a metallic clang Yuan's blade was sent spinning through the air, several Desian onlookers having to sidestep quickly in order to avoid it. Feeling somewhat gratified at having successfully disarmed one of the four seraphim through his surprise maneuver, Bluheim let his muscles relax and leaned down on his spear. Thinking the fight to be over.
And yet, despite this, the crowd did not break up. They remained watching - watching Lord Yuan. Who was concentrating mana in the air into a new weapon - a double bladed cleaver of some kind. Like Visk had never seen before. Dazed and disorientated from the lightning strike still, his last attack having been one of desperation, Visk quickly raised his lance and held it up lengthways, noting Yuan's smirk of satisfaction as he charged towards him.
Feeling sick to his stomach, his head pounding still from the effects of Yuan's spell, every blow the angel struck made the metal of the spear vibrate painfully in his hands, as all Visk could do was desperately defend against the intense, unpredictable dance of the seraphim. His arms numb and aching as pain shot through them 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 times. The seventh strike broke his lance in two - whipping dangerously close to his face and clanging against his helmet. Knocking it clean off his head.
The crowd looking on in silence as Visk stood with his face exposed, the two broken halves of his lance gripped in his trembling hands. He stood staring over at Yuan for about half a second before the seraphim put on a burst of speed, appearing behind him and beginning to charge up a spell. A spell he could sense by the buildup of mana in the air to be huge.
Turning around on his heel to face the blue-haired angel, fighting to ignore his disorientation and pain, with a grunt Visk kicked his fallen helmet at Yuan's face as a distraction. Snapping the two broken ends of his lance together and closing his eyes. Freezing them together at the point of the break with ice to form a makeshift weapon. Although, it would now be too fragile to defend with.
Charging forwards right at Yuan, mimicking the seraphim's own previous attack, with a quick sidestep Visk began to strafe around Yuan with his spear blade held out and whipping through the air in elegant curving arcs - his Aurora Waltz. Attempting to trip up or disarm the angel once more by sweeping his blade down towards his feet and up at his fingers - his feet moving to the rhythm of a dance as he poured into his assault the last of his focus. One... two... three... one... two... three... Waltz!

Yuan slashes the kicked helmet into two; the seperate halves flying on different sides of Yuan. A smile on his face at how Visk accomidates at his cleaved in two lance. Impressed at how he manges to deal with the problem by freezing the lance back together. Though he knew, and no doubt Visk knew, that the lance wouldn't be able to take much more before the ice broke as well.
Bending his knees, and keeping his Swallow behind his back, her rushes forward towards Visk as he does the same. The Seraphim jumping up to avoide the under slash of the lance; his body twisting around to slash towards Visk and blocking the tip towards his hand. Now this is were Visk returns the pounding Yuan gave to Visk. Save Yuan dodges and does not block as his feet slide across the dirt ground. Stopping for a few seconds before sweeping his foot on the ground and leaning to one side to avoide the attack. This blows of hits and evading making it seem like the two are dancing to a ...waltz.
One... two... three... one... two... three...
Getting tired of this dance, Yuan crouches down and jumps up into the air by the help of a step on the lance of Visk. His body twisting in the air as he goes over Visk. His feet touching the ground with a dull 'thud' as on knee hits the ground and the Swallow digging into the ground. The flashes of lighting mana channeling in the blade before striking down in the cirlce glyph under Visk.
