Appearance:Luna, the Light of the Heavens, appears as a graceful woman with long multi-colored hair and is one of the Sylvaranti Summon Spirits. She sits upon a crescent moon with her magical staff in hand. Although she does sit on the moon and a rare few have seen her there, she can get down off of it. She looks like a tall and slender woman. A multi-colored halo floats above her head. She has starnge green marking on her right side and on her upper right arm, close to her elbow. From her waist down she is clothed in a very long gown that shines a blue and purple and looks like it has the stars themselves in bedded in it. Her torso is barely coverd except for a scarf like clothing that covers her chest and raps around her neck, it is a blue color with a yellow outline. Some thing the way she is dressed is wrong but most only see's her beauty and grace.

Personality:Luna is a sweet, mild mannered Summon Spirit. She tries her best to be of cheery disposition and optimistic nature most of the time and always tries to look for the best in people. She's caring and helpful and will always do her best to help any in need, even if they are not so honourable themselves. Luna loyalties are usually neutral, where she'll support anyone in need, whether their actions be good or bad. Mild-mannered, she isn't afraid to voice her opinions but is by no means rash and loud about it, she is patient and speaks in a gentle voice to get her point across. She is warm hearted and playful, happy to joke around to try and lighten the mood and has a soft spot for children, which she'll always try to look after, amuse and entertain whenever they are around her.

She is usually submissive in nature when it comes to others, usually willing to accept their authority over hers. She has respect males and females just the same and always conducts herself in the appropriate manner around those of any social rank. Loyalty is not a problem for her, once alliances have been sworn, she'll keep them forever, or until the other party should decide or act otherwise. Built for grace and elegance, rather then speed or strength, she's not feisty and would rather submit than have to fight. Not that she can't fight, she's just not the strongest and would rather avoid confrontation as much as possible. Luna rarely gets angry, she tries to contain her anger at certain things as much as possible which causes her to become slightly withdrawn and depressed, where she'd go off on her own rather than stay and conflict with another, though sometimes if she can't contain herself, her violence is short lived. In the end she'll always calm back down, and no doubt often apologise for her behaviour. She hates to cause trouble and to be a hassle to anyone, preferring to help others than to worry about herself.[/color]

A Summon Spirit is a being which represents some primal or divine force in the world.Summons Spirits are beings supported by mana from the Great Kharlan Tree. The original legend of the Regeneration states that when the Chosen wakes the goddess Martel, she will have the Summon Spirits to protect the world as well. The Summon Spirits actually do exist. It is the Summon Spirits with whom the hero Mithos Yggdrasill made pacts that hold the two worlds of Sylvarant and Tethe'alla apart. His pact with Origin forged the Eternal Sword, which gave him the power to split the worlds in the first place. Sheena Fujibayashi, a summoner from Mizuho, begins to annul these pacts to at first separate the worlds so that they would not vie for the same mana any longer, as it is the seals of the Summon Spirits which created the connection in the first place. She offers her own pacts in their place to do so.
As the party starts severing the mana links, however, the Great Seed which was protected by the seals weakened and began to draw mana into itself, going out of control and rampaging across Sylvarant. This is because uniting the two worlds is the Great Seed in the center, which was drawn upon equally by both worlds and maintaining balance. With the disruption of the process, the Seed goes out of control, and only a blast of mana from the Tethe'allan Spirits, as the Seed was infused with only the Sylvaranti Spirits' mana, calms it.
In the end, when the new tree germinates, a new Spirit is created to guard it—Martel, born from all those whose lives were sacrificed to the Great Kharlan Tree.
Luna and Aska share the element of light with each other. So trying to make a pact with one without the other is impossible.
