Alicia waited for Yuan to respond, for some time. The entire time, her gaze did not leave Yuan, did not waver or flicker for an instant. Eventually, he said, "I'll hold you at your word, Miss Alicia. Don't disappoint me." Alicia was surprised. He didn't seem angry or anything. However, once she recovered, she responded quietly, "Don't worry, I won't. Whatever may come of it..."
Yuan hadn't really answered Alicia's question, but she decided it didn't matter. Alicia walked out of the room, and to the room she had been in with Angie. She lay on her bed, and closed her eyes. "So... What next? What does the future hold...?" Alicia had a feeling that nothing would ever be easy. And that was the way she wanted it. Alicia didn't want to just sit around. She would fight. She would fight for all those whose lives had been destroyed by Cruxis and those like them.
No matter what obstacles block her path, she shall never give in. The girl with the wings of an angel, a soul of fire, and icy eyes that reflect the sky. The future is uncertain, and the past is gone forever. And yet, there is one certainty in her future. She shall fight. For all eternity, she shall fight.
