"I said, GET OFF YOU PSYCHO!!!" Angie only laughs, an ominous sweet laugh. Feeling the struggles of Alicia intensify, she only laughs harder as she is thrown off. Flying towards her desk, she quickly turns her backward fly into a back flip. Landing on her desk really hard, she sits there in a crouch as her face turns into a crazed happy expression.
"Tee hee. You though I was going to hit the wall~!" She exclaims with a disturbing giggle. Quickly getting up she pushes off towards her own sword, neatly hanging near her bed post. Landing on the bed she kicks her bed post and grabs it flinging it towards Alicia before kicking her sword up into the air. Grabbing the handle, she slashes the sword as the sheath flies over towards the wall.
CLANK Moving her sword to her mouth, she gently licks the blade. Tasting the blood from battles before; a sick smile twisting its way to her mouth. "mmmmm..." She says with a liking to the taste. The salty metal like taste staying in her mouth. Slashing her chain sword downward, the sword turns into a long chain with sharp edges. Her chain sword glints in the florensic lights, showing the gold, red, and black edges to it.[/blockquote]

Alicia noticed that Angie kicked a bed post towards her. She did her best to dodge, while still heading toward her sword. Alicia succeeded in dodging, though she felt the tips of her wings lose a few feathers, right before she heard a clang on the floor.
Alicia leaped the last few feet toward where her sword had been set down, right next to her bed. She grabbed it, and turned in midair to land, standing on her bed. She quickly unsheathed it, amd looked over at Angie. The psychotic girl was holding some kind of bladed whip, which shone in the light. It looked almost like it was still stained with blood. Alicia got a chill down her spine. Angie was clearly insane, and that weapon wouldn't be easy to deal with.
Alicia contemplated trying to run away, but Angie and the exit were in the same direction. Besides, she didn't think that she could just lock the door from outside, and letting Angie roam would not be good.
Alicia was going to stop Angie from doing any damage, and if that required killing her, then she would do it. If she managed to wound Angie enough or knock her out without killing her, that would be better, but she wasn't going to hold back against an opponent like this.
Alicia initiated combat, rushing towards Angie, aiming a horizontal slash to the throat. This was followed by two more horizontal slashes, closer to the torso. Alicia finished her combination with her Bright Arc technique, viciously slashing in an upwards arc, and then unleashing a rapid stab, aimed towards the heart. Alicia's fighting style was meant to end battles quickly, through not power, but fast, precise strikes.

Angie pouts as her bed post doesn't make much of contact, but few white feathers fly into the air and slowly descends to the ground. Watching Alicia go for her sword, he smirk widens as Alicia heads straight for her. Intent on killing Angie.
Angie's fighting style is more of acrobatic, which consists of speed, agility, and quick reflexes. Because she doesn't have good defenses, she always has to be on her toes and dodge. So it was easy for her to jump back, her back hitting the wall with a thud, and evade the two vertical slashes by jumping to the side. However the vertical arc slash caught her in right shoulder, causing a deep gash with blood spurting out. Cursing to herself, she grits her teeth as she successfully dodges the stabs as she bounds towards the door.
Having let go of her sword when her shoulder got hit, she stands near the door weaponless. Despite the setback, the sick smile never leaves her face. Her shoulder throbs with pain; pain that she was accustomed to. Her shoulder bleeds heavily as the blood oozes down her chest and down her arm. Her upper torso almost covered in blood. She grips her shoulder with her left hand, putting pressure to cease the bleeding. Taking deep breathes her mouth wide open. A corner of her lip twitches into a sort of open mouthed smile.
Taking a step back, the door whooshes open as she walks backwards with her eyes on Alicia. Walking into the hallway, she is met with many passing Renegade soldiers. As they give one look at her, they all take out their weapons and storm into the room.
Angie closes her mouth to smirk for a second. Sure they would take Alicia's statement into consideration, but right now they think Alicia's crazy for attacking another Renegade soldier. You see, no matter how much Angie wants to kill Alicia. She will always be protected by Yuan, no matter how much of pain she is to the man. So the only thing she can ever do is make her the enemy, and put her in as much danger as she can without going against her contract.
Taking more deep hasty breaths, Angie’s mind slowly numbs. The lose of blood causing her to become light headed. Feeling a hand on her good arm, she allows the person to lead her where ever. No doubtly the hospital wing.
Gnome I hate hospital wings... gah! The war has only begun.
Words: 418 Comments: o.o I literally acted out what Angie was going to do to dodge the attacks. T-T my back hurts now from slamming myself into the wall so many times. x.X [/blockquote]

Alicia let out a cry of "Yes!" when one of her strikes hit Angie's shoulder, causing her weapon to drop. Alicia moved in for the kill before Angie could pick up her weapon again. However, this proved to be unnecessary, as Angie fled toward the door instead. Alicia didn't sheathe her sword yet, but dashed toward where Angie's weapon had fallen, and then threw it across the room.
Alicia stood between Angie and her (distant) weapon. She kept her sword out, prepared for if Angie was stupid enough to try and attack again. She sheathed her sword when Angie left the room... And then panicked slightly when the other soldiers came in, but didn't really struggle when they tried to drag her off, except for snatching her arm away from a particularly rough individual, snapping "Hey! Watch it!"
This war shall last as long as you wish to fight.

~HOSPITAL WING~
Angie hisses as the healer roughly stitches her shoulder. Not caring for Angie's pain, since she is a usual customer.
"So.. what did you do this time." The healers asks. Looking about the age of 26, she has short white hair that are put into ponytails with bangs that go to her eye brows. Her skin like Angie's is pale, and her eyes the color of dark blue. She wears a black dress with ruffles at the end, and long sleeves where it poofs out around the wrist with laces. A black bow is on both of her shoulders as well as one around the neck as a long white apron is tied around her.
"What makes you think it's my fault." Angie replies coolly. Keeping herself from wincing at every time the needle enters her skin and comes out with a firm tug. The healer only chuckles at Angie's reply, while another healer almost like the one stitching up Angie walks in with a smile. Unlike her twin, she wears a dark gray apron and her white hair is longer.
"Cause everything is your fault~!" The dark grey healer replies happily. Angie only smirks and shakes her head as she feels another sharp tug.
"Can't be any rougher?" Angie asks sarcastically at the Healer who is stitching her up. The healer doesn't reply but tugs even harder. Causing Angie to gasp and glare at the healer, while the healer only smirks.
"Well anyway, you've got a guest." The dark apron healer replies happily once more.
Who the hell would visit me?

Alicia stared at Yuan, not quite believing her ears? "You want me to do WHAT?!" she exclaimed, "Are you insane?! She threatened to snap my neck! I don't want to get near her again!"
And now she was here. She muttered under her breath, "He enjoys torturing me. That's the only explanation..." Alicia took a deep breath, closer to a sigh, steeling herself to go in.
She pushed the door open, and walked in. "Angie?" she began. "Yuan said I'm supposed to talk to you. So I'm in here..." Alicia was clearly unhappy about this. In all honesty, she wanted to cut Yuan's face off for even suggesting that she talk to Angie, much less forcing her...

The turning events lately have been slightly unsettling. For one, Angie is in the hospital wing with a big gash on her right shoulder. Two, Alicia had caused said gash because Angie threatened to snap her neck. Three, he had sent Alicia to go 'talk' with Angie. In a room full of healers, so that didn't exactly upset him. The reason why, these two just don't seem to want to get along is upsetting him. He would of thought that putting them into the same room would make them settle through their differences. I mean that's what happened to him and Kratos, and they got along just fine later on. Though right now things are looking so pleasant in their friendship, but anyway he was wrong.
They nearly killed each other, for one it would seem only Alicia did some damage. From what he can tell, Angie was going up with the contract but that doesn't mean she can't threaten and scare the poor girl.
Taking a deep breathe, he plops down in his chair and looks at the accumulating pile of paper. Even in Welgaia there is paper work to do, here there is paper work to do; they're everywhere! Looking at the high stacks of paper work, he contemplate if he wants drown in them or to just leave them be. Knowing that either way he's going to have to do them; he might as well do a lighter stack than one would be if he left it be. Leaning back in his chair his mind wonders back to the Alicia and Angie problem. Perhaps making Alicia go talk with Angie wasn't such a good idea, since the roommate thing didn't do wonders. Though if there is any fight to go on, there will be healers there. Even then, he felt slightly uneasy. Though the two are real pains, he can't help but feel a little responsible for them. They are two young angels, with serious personality complex issues. Angie's just a stubborn fool with a slight deranged way of dealing with things. Alicia is just a brat with issues on how everything turned out for her. Alicia had everything before, and Angie had nothing. Angie gained something, a home and friends; Alicia lost her home and her friends. The two were like opposites, except both of them are big headed people with issues.
Scratching the back of his neck; he lays his head back and closes his eyes. Placing his hands in his lap, he thinks a little harder on what to do now. Should he go to the Hospital Wing and supervise, have Alicia and Angie separated, send Alicia back to Cruxis, have Angie killed, have Alicia killed, have them both killed. So many options and more possibilities to go through. Yuan lightly groans; a headache starting form already from the problem at hand.
It doesn't help that he had threatened Alicia before about sending her back to Cruxis.
~OMG A FLASHBACK~
"You want me to do WHAT?!"
"Are you insane?! She threatened to snap my neck! I don't want to get near her again!"
"Well then, do you wish to go back to Cruxis?" Yuan asks monotony. Not a single emotion flickering through his face. His jade eyes dull of any emotion, like a shell of nothingness. He wasn't kidding, that was one of his options in getting the issue resolved. He can do it, without a single problem at all. Without warning he charged a ball of electricity, manly used in paralyzing people--usually enemies-- and had shoots it at Alicia. Showing that he can make her go to Cruxis.
"I hope you will consider when you can move again."
~OMG END OF FLASHBACK~
That ordeal was slightly cold on his part and completely rude, but it didn't matter to him. He wants this issue to be fixed, and now!
Feeling slightly agitated; he taps his fingers on the chair's armrests. Debating still on the subject.

Alicia waited for Angie to respond, while completely unsure of what to say herself for once. It wasn't like she could just go, "Why did you go insane and threaten to snap my neck? Is there really any sanity to why you went insane out of nowhere?"
Alicia was hardly concerned about being rude. However, to be honest, she would have felt absolutely ridiculous saying that. Alicia's thoughts wandered back to that situation with Yuan earlier....
Alicia's thoughts snapped back to the present when she heard someone's voice addressing her. She shook her head, "I'm sorry, what did you say?" she asked, "I started thinking about something else..." If she had been fully connected to reality even at this moment, she probably would never have apologized for something so minor.

Angie looks at the door opening, reaveling a certain someone that she rather not see. Her face darkens with malicious intent; her muscles tensing. Ready for anything the noble angel might do; ready to fight if nessicary.
"Angie?"
"Yuan said I'm supposed to talk to you. So I'm in here..."
Both healers look up to see Alicia, a curious look on their faces.
"So you're the one who give that nasty cut on her shoulder?" The gray healer asks with a sort of happy glee. Something you shouldn't really be expressing on the kind of situation.
"I'm sorry, what did you say?"
"I started thinking about something else..."
Both healers look at each other, the same eye brow raising up. Smiling at each other and both agreeing on the same thing, they run past Alicia and out the door.
Looking at each other they smile, as they quitely slip out of the room and out the hallway.
"BYE~! <3 we...uh... forgot something, we'll be right back!" the twins exclaim as they flee the area. Sure they should stay there, but their not dumb enough to get into a battle zone. After the two healers leave, a certain quiteness settles itself into the room. Not a single noise happens in that brief moment, Angie's eye locking with Alicia's. Her instincts telling her to get rid of Alicia before she causes more damage to her body. That little igsignificant voice, the one she usually ignores, gets her attention.
"Do you mean you were 'forced to come here'?" Angie asks monotony. All emotions from before suddenly drain from her face; all to replace a seriuos look. You see, usually when Angie's dead serious on matters; that when you really want to head her threats, warning, and what she says. She's not acting, she isn't hiding what she feels. No, she splaying it out and is well... dead serious on the matters.
The silence once more splays out into the area; the thudding of both of their hearts being one of the sounds in the room. Angie's breathing comes out in equel amounts, her heart pounding against her rib cage at a different beat to Alicia's. Her eyes icy blue eyes never leaving Alicia's eyes, a sudden dull look coming up. For a second there, her very demoner and her lack of movements give off the look of a dead empty shell. Pale white face, framed in silver hair. Her clothing nothing more than a thick white sleeveless shirt and long thick legged white pants. Her sock donned legs dangle off the side of the white sheets, almost lifelessly. Her arms limp, with one shoulder full of stitchings. For that brief moment, time stopped.
"Get the hell out." Angie says in a rough whisper. Her emotion chocking up her words, as a pained look crosses her features. A short sentence, followed up with consiqueces of not oblidging. For one thing, there are many sharp objects in Angie's reach. Which she wouldn't hesitate in throwing right at Alicia's throat or forehead. But as Angie slightly moved her hand, she fought back a reaction to come to her face. A shock expression hidden behind her eyes, before dulling once more.
The healers had drugged her with anesthesia; she is so numb she can't move a single finger. `Looking back she remembers faintly the healers giving her something, when she was still a little light headed. So after that, it finally is taking affect. It takes that long for an angel to become numb. How much did they give her? She's helpless right now, trapped. Angie never like it when she felt trapped, helpless to who ever was there. As if her death always waited when she was helpless.
Life is complicated, yet death could be so simple. As simple as a flick of the wrist. As simple as 1 2 3. Because when you die, that's it. Game over.
A battle lost, turning the tide of the war

Alicia couldn't believe this! Those two had left her alone with this, this... Psycho! "Hey! Are you really planning on leaving me with her?!" Alicia called after them. No response. Then, Angie made a comment.
Alicia responded angrily, "Yes, I was forced to come here! I have no desire to be near someone who threatened to snap my neck!" She glared at the almost helpless girl on the bed... And still saw a psycho, who was no doubt trying to fool Alicia into being off-guard.
They stared at each other for a few moments. The room was silent. Alicia heard Angie's twisted black heart beating, at another speed from her own heart... This intense silence continued, until Angie whispered, "Get the hell out."
Alicia said back, quietly, "No. I'm not going. I'm not going back to Cruxis. If I walk out, Yuan-" She stopped mid-sentence. There was no reason to continue. Angie appeared to be falling into some sort of sleep. Alicia looked down at the now truly helpless girl. Her fists clenched, and her hand moved to her sword, which Yuan had let her keep with her, oddly. Should she do it? Should she kill Angie, and end her insanity now? Alicia... Wasn't sure. Was Angie really just a psycho?
Alicia's hands relaxed, and fell to her sides again. No. She couldn't just kill Angie while she was helpless. Not yet anyway... If she became sure that Angie was indeed completely insane, then she wouldn't hesitate to stop her from doing any more damage. "Alright." she said to the no doubt by now unhearing girl, "I'll leave."
Alicia walked out the door, and headed to another. She paused a moment, and took a deep breath, before knocking on the door of the man who had threatened to send her to hell, back to that twisted tower...
A battle lost, but a life spared. The tide ever changes. We are not the same.

Yuan glares at the pile of paper, his position on his chair having changed from before. Now sitting with one knee to his chest and the other underneath; his jaw is now resting on the knee, his arms wrapped around it. He hadn't really changed his position since he had finished a foot stack of paper, even when the healer twins had come to tell him that Alicia is in the hospital wing. Though he had gotten one foot of the paper work done, he still has about nine feet of paper still to do. Nine. freakin. feet. of. stupid. paper. work.
So for that last few minutes he had busied himself with glaring at the stack of paper; as if it would magically be done all by itself. Though sadly it hasn't worked yet, but Yuan is hopeful that it'll happen really soon. Soon. He hopes. That is the curse of being a higher class officer in an organization. Him being the Renegade leader and a Seraphim of Cruxis. So in a sense he has ninteen feet of paper work. Nine here and ten waiting for him when he returns to Cruxis. Now this is the part where he would say the D word, but sadly since its not allowed on the site--even though the word was used in the game-- he'll just have to settle with.
" d**n,"
That is the sad tale of Yuan Ka-Fai. A 4,000 year old half-elf who long ago was the slave a noble man; a bastard of a noble man who followed a 14 year old half-elf in their quest of ending the war. Who also got engaged with the said 14 year old half-elf's sister. Who got was murdered when the war ended. Who spent 1/4 his life time as a soulless angel. Who then spent another 1/4 of his life realizing that he messed up and that he should fix that. Then the last 2/4 of his life so far in trying to stop Cruxis. Well... it's slowly becoming a reality; the end of Cruxis. Just really slow..very.
Knock Knock Knock Knock Yuan merely stays in his place, sighing at the knocking. Feeling too lazy to actually answer the door and for other reasons; he sits there as he moves his jaw from his knee to replace it with his cheek. Checking his legs he sighs in frustration as he attempts at moving them. Finding them paralyzed, he goes about massaging his legs. His past battle coming back because of it. KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK! "OKAY! I HEARD YOU THE FIRST TIME," He yells in frustration. Palming his face at his reaction in his frustration. Right now he'd rather not let anyone see him in his condition. Because at the moment he can't move his legs, because long ago he had killed his nerves. Not that it matters anymore; that' s one of the reasons he hates paper works. Since he doesn't move his leg much when he deals with the paper work, his legs just paralyze themselves and become numb. Which take some time to massage them back into working. Not even turning to the person entering; he continues to massage his legs. In their weird position; a solemn look on his face.

Alicia waited a bit before knocking again, louder. Then, she heard a shout "OKAY! I HEARD YOU THE FIRST TIME!" She closed her eyes, one of which was twitching slightly, and took a deep breath to calm herself down... When she released the breath, it sounded a little bit like a sound of frustration still, so she took another breath, which worked better this time.
Alicia's eyes were still closed when she pushed open the door, but then she opened them. She noticed that Yuan was in a strange position, massaging his own legs. She managed to restrain herself from commenting, since she knew she'd probably end up going too far if she did.
Alicia took another breath, and spoke, "I went to talk with Angie." she began, "She didn't really want to talk either. The healers left us alone, and she ended up falling unconscious..." She then said, quickly, half joking, half reassure him, "No, I didn't knock here out. I simply left, without impaling her... whatever she has in place of a heart, with my sword."
Alicia paused for a moment, and then said, "That's it. That's all that happened. So, what next? Am I still to be roommates with someone who wants to kill me, or are you just going to try and send me to Cruxis?" This time, Alicia watchs Yuan closely. If she saw so much as a flash of static, she would start moving, whether or not she had any chance whatsoever of fighting him if it did come to that.

Yuan listens intently, having calmed down in frustration. About an inch of calming down, but progress no less. Still massaging his legs; he tests to see if they'll work and fails. He grumbles something incoherent. Something that sounded like ' grumble grumble lightning mage grumble grumble not a very nice person grumble grumble mithos grumble grumble fault.'
Ignoring that, he continues to massage his legs. Thinking over the matter. Yes, what is he going to do. Sending her to Cruxis is still an option that is worth taking, since at the moment he needs to get on Mithos's favorable side if he wants to keep his treachery from being found out. So far Kratos already knows, but it would seem he hasn't spoken of it. That's something he's grateful for, at the very least.
"Yes... the anesthesia. The healers told me about that, I wonder how much dosage they had to use for it actually work." Yuan contemplates to himself, as he puts a finger to his chin in thought. Slightly forgetting about massaging his legs; he curses silently at how much more time it's going to take to get them to work. Why did he have to challenge that lightning mage, did he really have to prove himself. To prove that he was the better mage, and that he didn't like being talked down. By race and age. Stupid elf thinking that a lowly half-elf had no chance against a pure bred. Every time, it's always about pure bloods; pure blooded elves, pure blooded humans, pure blooded nobles, and such other nonsense.
Shaking his head of reminiscing the past, he sighs sadly. Why don't things work out the way he hopes they would.
"Miss Alicia, do you know Angie?" He asks. His eyes still on his legs; the massaging becoming sort of mechanical for him. "You see, when I found Angie; she was half dead in the Gaoracchia Forest. She had been attacked by a tiger. She didn't have an Exshpere like most skilled fighters in Tethe' Alla; so she was out numbered in pure strength and speed by the beast."
Nose scratch "Unlike you, long before you were turned into an angel. Angie has no home, no future, no nothing. Everything she had was stolen, and fought after. You may have spent most of your life in wretched agony; probably half awake the whole time. But Angie was always aware of her uncertain status, since she was a child. She's seen more death than you could possible handle." He says monotony. Once in a while looking up at the wall then back to his legs as he continues to massage. "She's a thief Miss Alicia. She's done nothing more in her life than kill, and steal." Yuan looks up boredly at Alicia; stopping his massaging. His face showing no care for the world; as if his age was showing. Which if it was he would be nothing more than a pile of dust. An empty sad man who has seen many deaths in the world; a man who has seen just about everything. A man who usually never showed any reaction, but with these two. Any man would go insane. "Please do not judge a person before you get to know them." He says once he returns back to his legs. That unhappy look plastered on his face. "And everyone has a heart Miss Alicia. Some people just don't care to look for it."

Alicia simply said, "I... see." before falling into silence for a bit, thinking. After a little while, she said, "This may not matter, but I would like to say it. I was alone in that room with Angie, with her unconscious, and I had my sword with me. And yet, I did not kill her." Alicia was not holding back as she spoke. "The reason for that was not fear of you, or anyone else. I could most likely have killed her and left before anyone knew."
Alicia looked straight at Yuan. "Nor is it because I do not wish to kill. It is because exactly what you said there. I do not know her enough yet. She calmly threatened to kill me, but that one instant wasn't enough to judge by." Her intense gaze was still straight towards Yuan, "I do not, however, believe that everyone truly has a heart. If I get to know Angie, which I would really rather not, and I think she truly has no heart... Well, I think you know me well enough from this conversation to know what I would do. I would indeed kill her."
Alicia didn't care whether she was being perhaps a bit too direct. "I am letting this be clear. I do not think that someone's past in the least determines if their actions are right or wrong. They can be taken into consideration perhaps, but some things cannot be forgiven just because of a little something like past. Even I would not be exempt from this... And neither would you."
Alicia's intense gaze gained a cold fire. At this point, she was letting everything out. "I don't care if what I say is a good idea. Just know that I do not fight for you, I do not fight for the Renegades. I fight against Cruxis, because they would take away people's freedom. If I found out that you ordered someone to do something that I believed to be too horrible to stand, I would go after you."
Alicia let out a dry chuckle, "I just want you to know who I am. Not just some spoiled noble. Whether you think I'm overly dramatic is irrelevant, I say things as I see them. Perhaps in the future, I may not live up to my own words, I have not seen it yet, but I believe I will live up to what I say. "
Alicia finished, her intense gaze still fixed on Yuan intently. "That's it, I'm done for now. So, what next?" She watched him carefully. Though she was looking straight at his face, right into his eyes if he was looking at her, she was also paying attention to his hands, which if he was going to try to do anything, the lightning or whatever weapon he was attempting to use would appear in.

For a second there the two look at each other, both done with their speeches and what not. All the while Yuan continues to massage his legs before stopping and stretching them. Putting his right elbow onto his armrest, he rests his cheek on his fist as his eyes close. Contemplating of 'what next'; and 'the options'. Yuan wasn't exactly furious at her, and wasn't excited as well. Just calm and passive about it all; going through everything in a logic stand point. She really is pig headed on her ideals, and wouldn't be swayed which is a good quality but not so great as well. Mithos could be an example; quite perfect actually. Then there is the fact that she thinks Angie as nothing more as a threat, she may be ify on the subject but it's no doubt clear. She considers Angie nothing more than an enemy; which is kind of sad. Since he's sure that they would have been a great two team group. She also has a kind of an idealist personality, and straight forward on things.
But she is wrong on one point, and he really didn't say the correct point. 'Everyone has a heart, perhaps not now, or not then, but they will or did. Because people aren't born evil, they are just nurtured in an unstable environment and taught to be like that or some turn in events caused them to be like that. Nevertheless, they are either misunderstood or completely insane.' That's something he should of made a point, but she'll understand soon enough. Though countless mistakes and hard times; she'll understand someday. Because in reality there is never one evil, there are two evils. Like a coin they are the same coin, but with different view points and beliefs. Life is a sad sad thing.
What probably felt like an eternity to Alicia was brief and productive on Yuan's part. Sitting up straight with a sigh; his hand reaches for his pen as he silently takes a few pieces of paper from his stack and goes about his work. Not once looking at Alicia; he waves his right hand dismissively at Alicia.
"I'll hold you at your word, Miss Alicia." He dully says. Skimming through the piece of paper, he slowly turns to Alicia. "Don't disappoint me."
And I have been disappointed countless times. I don't like being wrong. Turning away from Alicia, he returns to skimming the piece of paper before signing it and putting it on the left side of the desk. His left hand holding the pen as he quickly writes. Yuan Ka-Fai
