First Mission (Yuan/Open)

Before she could hear what Alicia had said, something exploded. No surprise there. Alicia had practically been a sheild for her, and she mentally appologized for that. Although, the hellish wall was not lodged in her, bringing up the pain again. Cringing as she began to scream, Raine went around to the other side of her, and tried to remove all of the tiny splinters, healing up the bleeding spots accordingly. Turning to Yuan, Raine's eyes widened when she noticed something about that wall.

"Polycarbonate!" she whispered harshly to herself, and then scrambled to her feet, going to examine it as well. Completely oblivious to Yuan's simalar reactions, she began to examine it, rubbing her hands over it and breaking off smaller pieces to study what was in it and the type of texture that it had. Oooh, it's so smooth~ and so... ancient! Oh, this is a very good slab, definetly older than the Triet Ruins! Easily built at least two hundred years earlier. There MUST be Magitechnology nearby~ I can already notice that there's mana leaking out of the tunnel~ she continued to think like this for several more minutes.

"I vote we go into the tunnel."[/color

After punching the blockage open, he smiles in triumph at his accomplishment. Happy that nothing is keeping him from his Magitechnology; what kind of inventions could be in there? Is the Magitechnology even more advanced than his Renegades'? Oh the wonders that are being held in this little tunnel! Not missing a beat, not even really caring for Alicia's health, he walks over towards the tunnel. Carefully looking looking in the tunnel for any traps; feeling the mana sweeping out from the tunnel already made his heart swell with anticipation. Oh was he going to have fun~! ~<3

Polycarbonate

Yuan turns around to find Raine humping examining some of the polycarbinate. He slowly narrows his eyes, competition coming to mind.

I bet if I kill her now, I won't have to deal with her hogging the Magitechnology.. ....BRILLIANT!

Unaware with the fact that he's snickering evily and looking at Raine like he's going to kill her; he swifty turns back to the tunnel. A plan formulating in his mind as he grins evilily before turning back to the two with a normal face.

"Considering your health Miss Alicia. It would be best if you stayed here; who knows what more could be in there that can cause the same reaction as before." Yuan says, a shadow smile forming on his face. A passive look with the shadow of a smile hanging around him. His plan being to ditch Alicia here and take Raine with him into the tunnel. THEN kill her by having her attention diverted to the Magitechnology. If she touches the Magitechnology, he could easily just have his foot touch a wire or something to tranfer large amounts of lightning mana in it. Causing the Magitechnology to overload and explode, killing Raine with it. Though he wasn't so sure on destroying the Magitechnology. AFTER HE EXAMINES IT! Then he'll go along with his plan. ALL OF IT WILL BE HIS~! MUAHAHAHAHHAHAHA!

"Raine and I will go ahead. Understood?" Yuan says with a mainiac laughter in his head. Oh yes, he was going to kill the half-elf. And all of the Magitechnology will be his. His preciouse.

Alicia felt the infinite burning agony begin to fade considerably. It was still insane, more than you'd think the mind could bear, but then it faded more, and more... Alicia managed to begin to comprehend again, and realized that Raine was helping her, healing her... Eventually, Alicia felt the pain fade away. Not quite completely, it still felt like she had knives sticking into her. Maybe some of the smallest pieces, like dust, were still there...?

Alicia could function now however. She had to keep going... She stood up, and looked up. Both Raine and Yuan appeared actually rather excited about the stone. Alicia heard Raine mention "Polycarbonate" whatever that was. Was it this stone that for some reason, she couldn't touch? At this point, Yuan turned around to look at them. He said something about Alicia staying behind...?

Alicia shook her head. "No..." she began, "I need to find out the truth. Whatever is in there, I want to see it... Something strange is going on here." She wasn't sure why she wanted to go on. The pain that stone had caused her was immense, and she really didn't like the idea of having more of it... Even now, her eyes flickered ever just the slightest in pain. Barely there at all, you'd probably have to be paying close attention to notice anything at all. But it was there.

The pain really did feel like knives stabbing into her and not leaving. It was horrible, and she wished she could get rid of it. But for some reason, she felt determined to go on and learn the truth, no matter what. And she barely showed her pain at all...

Intrigued by the magitechnology that was beginning to soak up the area, Raine completely ignored Yuan and dashed into the tunnel, gripping her staff tightly and looking around like a kid in a candy store. Her eyes were shining, and she channeled energy into her rod to make it light up, so that she could examine the tunnel a little easier. Realizing how the material had harmed both Yuan and Alicia, she refrained from touching it--knowing Yuan was a half-elf, or maybe it was just some sort of angel thing--just in case.

Staring intently at the blank wall--no magitechnology or anything--she nodded to herself a bit, and muttered, "Manmade. Deifinetly manmade." And she tracked the walls, declaring that the entire cave--about three meters wide and three meters tall--was perfectly manmade. Maybe by some sort of drill or something. Not shovels... it wasn't expertly carved, either; very rough, with stones and pebbles all over the floor, creating the essance of incredibly loose footing--which was dangerous. As she brought her rod down to the floor to examine a large, black crack.

Although it wasn't big enough to fall through, and it only went down about half a meter (which wasn't big enough for some sort of additional cavern underneath them) cold air came from it, and suddenly a voice pierced the darkness. Raine couldn't tell if it was in her own head, or if she was actually hearing it.

"Twoo lovers...♫ Forbidden from one another.... ♫ a War devides their peopleeee... ♫ and a mountani divides them apart... ♫ Built a path to be TOgether... ... ♫

Yuan places a small smile on his face, his left eye twitching slightly in annoyance. His plan had failed, and knows he won't have other choice but to kill them all. But if you kill one of them, the other will gets suspicious and well....they'll fight back. So the best thing to do is get them both near a nice big Magitechnology and have them electrocuted the point of causing their heart to skip beats and make their heart explode! Yay fun!

Nodding his head, he turns sharply to walk into the tunnel--Raine already having ran to that location-- and returns a very unhappy frown on his face. As he stiffly walks through the passageway he can definitely tell that it's manmade making this becoming even more lovely~ <3 As he passes by the crouching Raine, he stops for a second to look back to look at her with a 'WFT?' look.

"If you have to go to the bathroom, Professor Sage. Please go outside." Yuan says with a 'oh please don't do that here' kind of tone. Turning away with scrunching his nose, he tries to calmly walk over to one of the Magitechnology. Which is pretty much using all of their distracted attention to zip over to the Magitechnology and run his hands over the machine. You could say he's a Mecha Maniac, but then he'd kill you for saying that. He of course forgotten what happened back outside the tunnel with the stones and kept silently gushing over the machine.

"Marvelous...pure magnesium titanium plating with gold wiring." Yuan says silently in Angelic. Crouching down he gives the machine a once over, for any insignia to identify the creator. Running his hands underneath the machine, he feels indentions on the bottom. Perking up at the touch; he leans down with the side of his head on the floor as he examines the bottom. Seeing complete darkness he charges his electric ball and places it down but a little away from the machine. Seeing the carving, his mind slowly churns on it. He's seen this marking somewhere, but once again his mind is failing him. HE IS NOT SENILE! ...He's just very forgetful on stuff like this. He can't even remember his Renegade soldiers’ names, so he just remembers their number. Like Renegade soldier 194-578, this is in six digit numbers. He likes muffins.

"hn.....A circle with an arrow slicing in from the top right and down. As well as a stick coming from the right top and down.....?" Yuan says slightly out loud to himself. Getting up briefly he stays in a crouch position with a hand to his chin; trying to remember where he had seen that.

[Alicia Valka]

Alicia followed after Yuan, who had followed after Raine into the tunnel. Looking at the inside, it was obviously manmade... As Raine was saying out loud as well. Alicia noticed Raine crouched down, appearing to be examining something. She heard Yuan make some stupid comment and rolled her eyes. Did she really work for that guy? Maybe she should find a way to fight Cruxis without him later, she had no desire to be anywhere near him... Or certain others that worked for him, such as that psycho Angie.

Alicia went over to look at whatever Raine was examining, which appeared to be nothing but a dark crack in the ground. Suddenly, she felt a blast of cold air and heard a voice, singing some sort of strange song... An extremely eerie song. It didn't quite seem like it was coming from any one direction, almost like it was in her head. But that voice sent a chill down her spine... Apparently she wasn't the only one that heard it, as she heard Raine repeating back a particularly eerie part of that song.

"Professor Sage?" Alicia said, thinking that it might be best to call her by that name, "I think we should back away from that..." She was already backing away herself. She noticed Yuan doing something with one of the machines nearby, but it didn't really matter.

Alicia backed into the wall, and... Felt it move. Oh great... That usually meant that something was about to happen... And apparently it did this time too. Alicia felt like she was falling, and then felt herself stop... But she didn't feel like she'd hit anything. Alicia looked around, she saw no light at all, not even a faint one from just above. However... She looked down at herself, and she was still visible to herself, so it obviously wasn't ordinary darkness. It was as if she was standing in nothing but a void...

"Where... Where am I?" she wondered aloud. Then, she called out, "Is anyone there?! I can't see anything..." Well, she probably shouldn't just stand there waiting for an answer. Maybe this seemingly endless darkness wasn't so endless... Alicia began walking forward... And walking, and walking, and walking... It seemed like there was nothing there, though her steps somehow seemed to echo through the emptiness... It sounded like she was walking on smooth stone strangely...

Raine still crouched, examining the hole, and when Yuan made his comment, she summoned her staff and pointed it right at his face without even looking up. At this point, the Professor couldn't be less interested in whatever the annoying scientist guy had to say.

Suddenly, there was a gasp, and when the half-elf looked up, Alicia was gone. "?" she wondered, glancing around. "Where's Alicia?"

[/color] the second comment was half to herself, as she stood up to examine what had happened. "Maybe she went on ahead. Alicia--!"[/color] slightly annoyed, maybe that girl wasn't as she thought, and was actually a pain-in-the-ass in disguise. Sighing, Raine decided to go on ahead also.

Confusion fitted itself on his handsome features; the insignia mared into his mind for later refrences as he slowly got up onto his feet and brush off some dirt that attached itself to him. Dusting his hands together as well, he gives the machine a look over once more before turning around to tell his find. To see if either of them had ever heard or seen the insignia before. Just when he wanted them the most, and actually looked forward to find out that he's traveling with them. Alicia is no where to be found.

Of course Yuan being the very pissed off concerned Renegade leader; he pushes off before Raine with a 'I'm going to kill her!' calm and collected look.

"That pain in the ass..."" Yuan hisses under his breath as he stomps steadily makes his way forward in hopes of finding Alicia and giving her a piece of his mind.

Alicia kept walking through the darkness. Seeing nothing... Except herself, if she looked down, or at her hands. But, what was this endless darkness, if it didn't hide her? She saw nothing... Except her own footsteps, echoing on stone that didn't exist. Until...

"Where's Alicia?" Raine's voice pierced the gloom. "Maybe she went on ahead?" Suddenly, Alicia now saw that room from before she fell... "No! I'm right here!" But they couldn't hear her. And when she walked forward, tried to touch them, it was nothing more than an illusion.

"What... What's going on? she wondered aloud. Then, Yuan's voice, "That pain in the ass... They thought she'd went on ahead. Then, suddenly... There was light again.

Alicia was in a silver cage, hanging over a pit, in the center of a large, metallic room... The room looked like something from the Renegade base, though she knew she wasn't there. She was still somewhere... Somewhere under this strange temple... What was going on?

Yuan made his way ahead of Raine, pushing her to the side with a calm expression, save for his very hostile-looking eyes. She wasn't intimidated, though, and simply followed along behind him, still keeping an ear out for Alicia. Her mood became fairly serious, and she clutched her staff tighter in her hand as they walked through the dark tunnel. There was a dim light at the end of the tunnel, slowly growing larger, until Raine pushed past Yuan with a, "I'll get to you later!" sort of look, and emerged into a large room made entirely of metal. In the center was a large pit, and above it, in a cage, was the angel girl. How'd she get there so fast? Wasn't she behind them? Raine pondered the thought of transportation.

The room was filled with all sorts of magitechnology; exactly what they'd been looking for, and exactly what Raine had been trying to find. Maybe Yuan wouldn't kill her now that she'd been able to discover this strange place. "Facinating..." she muttered as she glanced around the room, going over and examining the machines. She forgot all about Alicia.

Had he not been clear ahead of time that she should stay behind? Perhaps he didn't enforce the order as much as he should have, but from her little fit from before you'd think that she'd oblige and stay behind. No, Miss Alicia had to be the brave little girl and do a magical trick that made her dissapear. If he didn't find the girl, he'll leave to her own demise. He can only look for one person, with a temper and a headache, for so long before he got fed up and gave up. Depending on the situation, he'd work hard at looking, but with Miss Alicia there's a difference.

This little girl willingly came to him for help on the Estressa problem. He didn't have her sign up so he could baby-sit her. The farther the two, Raine and he, went; the more his electric hand sizzled with more power. Joy~

Yuan sighs as he brushes his bangs behind his ear with his unelectric hand. Nodding his head at Raine walking past him, Yuan just stops and 'attempts' at calming his nerves. He really did want to punch the wall. He really did, but that might cause the temple to become unstable and crash underneath their heads. It doesn't take a lot to get Yuan angry or annoyed.

Scratching the back of his head, he hears the soft whisper of...

"Facinating..."

That perking his interest a little, he continues the rest of the way to look into the room. His eyes scanning at the many magitechnology and to finally rest on the silver cage holding Alicia. Shaking his head and stepping forward, he crosses his arms as a disapointed parent might do. Well, Yuan's no parent and may never be. Alright how about a disapointed boss in his employeer. More suitable for the situation.

Gazing at the silver cage for any idea of getting her out of there, and the back of his mind telling him that he should be weary of it. It may look like an innocent silver cage holding the angel, but it might also be a trap for those who wish to release the captive.

"You look comfy." Yuan says nonchalantly. Knowing that Alicia would here him regardless of whispering or shouting that comment out. So why did he say it? Well it doesn't hurt to tease the girl. I mean, it's not every day you see a person falling into a hole and appearing next into a silver cage. Which is rather large now that he thinks about it.

Such a cage wouldn't be made for a human being, would it? If so, than would it have some features that deal with magic? Is there an anti-magical barrier that does not allow those inside to cast magic, if so how about those outside?

So many questions and no answers from just looking at the cage. Scuffing his shoe on the ground, he looks around for any small items that would be ideal for a little experiment. Casually looking around with a slight tilt to the head, he catches sight of a little tool. The graduated cylinder.

Walking over towards it with slow steps he picks up the cylinder and looks at it for a while before throwing it quickly and hard at the silver cage. His facial expression showing his rage from Alicia, at the temple, and most all, to the cage.
