General

• Please try and be active; try to get on at least once a week or don't join. Don't be one of those members that join, and never log in or log in once and then never return. Those members are looked down on.
  
• Be respectful to all members; this site would not be without them. Also be respectful to all staff members. Remember... they have power over you.
  
• Please refrain from strong language. Only the Language that was used in Tales of Symphonia is allowed. No more. And don't use it incredibly often, either.
  
• This is a literate site; that means ABSOLUTELY NO CHATSPEAK IN POSTS. OOC [out of character] post chatspeak is fine, but IC [in character] I don't want to see any chatspeak. That includes smileys/emoticons.
  
• Spell check is your friend! So don't make posts with thousands of spelling errors and with grammar problems. That tends to make people not want to RP with you and you look like an idiot. So proof read before you post; it makes it easier on us and everyone else.
  
• Please refrain from fighting with other members/staff. Characters fighting is fine, and encouraged, but with members, no. Do it over PM or don't do it at all, because no one wants to hear it.
  
• Tales of Symphonia takes place in another world, so keep your characters from refrencing things like soda or manga or gaming systems, because they don't exist there.
  
• T is as high as you can go. No mature content, AT ALL.
  
• Members are responsible for updating their own bios with weapons, items, etc.
  
• Asking staff to make new monsters appear is against the rules. What comes up in the randomizer is what you get.
  
• If your account has been banned or suspended from either the site or the c-box, it's probably for a good reason. Once you've been given the reason for the suspension/ban, you shouldn't badger any staff members for further explanations or to un-ban/suspend you. Begging will earn you a longer suspension/permanent ban.
  
• This site contains game/manga/anime spoilers for those who have not finished the game/manga/anime.
  
• If you've never played/read/watched Tales of Symphonia, don't join.
  

Posting/Role-playing

• No double posting out of the General Category. That includes triple posting and everything higher.
  
• No Powerplaying (Controlling someone else's character or making them do something).
  
• No Godmodding! NONE! (when your character doesn't die/take damage]
  
• When making posts with your character; make sure your plots make sense. Don't all of a sudden bring a Sylvarant character all the way to Tethe' Alla without a valid reasoning for how and why the person is there.
  
• As said, this is a literate site. Posts must be at least 100 words.

  Colette leaped to the side to dodge the monster's attack, and then decided to attack and called out, "Angel Feathers!"

  As the monster came rushing in toward her, Colette flew to the side and gasped as she just barely got out of the way of the hit. Floating a meter or two backward, she toko in a deep breath and began to call upon the angels to grant her power enough for a Tech move. As she projected her voice in the chant, she felt the power beginning to come to her.
  
  She then shot her eyes open as she was granted the energy, and called out confidently, "Angel Feathers!" The angelic feathers then began to form around the monster, and finally they shot inward toward it. Colette smiled then and looked over to Lloyd who had just finished off another monster, and gave him a thumbs up and a playful laugh.

  
  
  
• Romance is allowed, but only to a certain degree. No sex. No talk about it. Nothing. If you want to role-play it, do it over PM.
  
• Keep to the posting order! It makes things even more confusing and cheats other members out of their posts.
  
• Don't beg any staff member to post in your thread. We've all got lives, too, and we can't be online 24/7. If it's been over twenty-four hours you may bring it up once. We'll get to it eventually.
