And now, the plant monster was apparently dead. Good. Shara hacked at its body a bit more, as well as the stems connecting it to the ground, just to be safe.
Vince asked her where the kid had gone, "Somewhere away from the monster I would assume. Why-" She then realized that they probably could have asked him more about the bandits, "If the monster had gotten him, he wouldn't have been able to tell you where your sister was either way..." she said to him. "We'll just have to search for them..."
Shara then walked into the forest. Coincidentally, it was in the direction the monster had come from... She hadn't walked far, before she noticed a hole in the ground. Barely noticeable in the darkness, but it appeared to be where the creature had come from, since that's where the stem was...
Shara then got closer, and she managed to see... "Stairs?!" There were stairs leading down under where the plant had been. This was strange... Had that thing been guarding something? Was this where the bandits were located? ...But then, how had the boy escaped?
It didn't matter. This was probably worth investigating, "Hey, Vince," she called, "Come over here! There's a hole in the ground, and there seem to be stairs leading down... Maybe the bandits are in here?"

Sighing as Shara seemed to realize what he was thinking as well, and they began walking once again. Vince's mind stirred with thoughts about that monster--maybe it was related to the incident at hand in some way? Was some sort of conroller of beasts behind the kidnappings of his sister? His thoughts were broken as Shara pointed out some stairs going down. The Bandit's hideout?

Amethyst eyes blinked open, painful with fatigue, and glanced around the location they were in... only to see nothing but complete darkness. Rubbing them as her flimsy sleeve fell, Rena stood up and tried to remember what had just happened. Oh yes, she'd been kidnapped. It took a few seconds for that to set in, because she was very tired from the events that had taken place. Then she rose with a jolt, everything completely forgotten. Glancing down, she sighed, knowing she was currently powerless. She didn't feel her top in her pocket. Vince...
