Kratos | Aurion`` 'o___e,'
Snarling. The Chosen is an idiot. Snarling. Brian is an idiot. Snarling. Sheena is as violent as always. Snarling................ Crap. Kratos looks over his shoulder, knowing full well that he is NOT going to see where the snarling is coming from. Trees are NOT transparant; they are in fact very solid and sturdy. He would know that from a tree walking into him; yes the tree walked into him, not the other way around. Anyyyyway, Kratos is now firmly holding his sword's hilt with his right hand while keeping his other hand on the sheath. Leaning his left shoulder on the tree, he sneaks a look around the tree to locat the 'snarling' with the occasion grunts. "hmph," Kratos says lightly with a disaproving tone. His wine red eyes catching the four forms of the boars, his eyes more focused on the more threatful creature. The big mama boar herself. Stepping out from behind the tree, he wordlessly unsheaths his sword. The clink of his sword coming out of the dark blue sheath, the light gray blade gleaming in the sun light. With the foreboding look of transparent stains of blood; splotching the blades gleam. Watching the four boars make their way towards the four people; the ground shaking more and more as the big mama comes closer. Kratos slightly frowns as the three small boars head towards the Chosen; while the big mama comes straight at him, not even changing it's track. Kratos' frown deepens at his luck, or unlucky-ness-y to be exact. Of all the four of them, the boar mother just has to pick him as the 'play toy'. I mean sure his outfit is very contrasting with the plain's color, but what about the Chosen's obnoxiously red hair. It's like a beakoning, but nooooo. Big Mama wants to play with K-Man the sexy, which is not something suprising since the boar is female. His gorgeous looks are 'irresistable'. Bending his knees, bouncing on his toes for easy dodging, he awaits the Big Mama to come closer. Finding the Big Mama to be in the right distance for his liking; Kratos jumps to the side quickly falling down to the ground into a roll before bouncing back up and turning back to Big Mama. His idea was to have Big Mama crash into the tree and cause 'some' damage. Now if the three were smart, they would have fled the tree long ago. Though he wouldn't be suprised if Brian happen to have his leg lock up on him; Kratos can smell a coward a mile away. Alright boars. Stupid creatures with great aggression. They do not like to be insulted, called foul names, or be thought of as a stupid creature. They tend to hold grudges and they have no elemental weaknesses or strengths. They have powerful attacks, and are very fast when charging. Best time to attack is when they have just charged and missed, or hit something. Kratos stops in mid thought, his mind already wondering to Zelos. If the Chosen is smart, he would not jibe the creature or call it names. Presumably prevoke the boars into rage, preferably Big Mama. The big fat boar with rage of a grown woman; who will come after the other three once they attack the small ones. Not it kind of makes Kratos to just flee fly away from the battle, and continue his journey to Meltokio. Finding a hair getting stuck in his left eye, he flicks his head to the left; managing to get the hair out of his eye. Of course any person watching this would think that Kratos is prevoking the creature . No, he's only getting rid of the hair from his eye; though many people have mistooken that as it. Many times.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

"What... What's that sound?!" These were the first words out of Brian's mouth when he heard the sound of the approaching animals, the tremors they seemed to make, their snarling and grunting.
Brian stood up, his hands gripped tightly on the six foot long, three inch thick piece of wood he always carried with him, it pointing straight up in the air. His thin frame and short stature were both very readily apparent as he shook, the weapon he held being a foot taller than him, and obviously not even originally made as a weapon.
Brian saw the one huge creature, as well as the three smaller ones charging at them. He started to turn around to run... But then he stopped. He heard that strange voice of his fear in his head again. What are you doing you fool?! Save yourself, leave these guys behind! Brian shook his head, and thought back, No! I won't run... I have to prove to myself that I can be brave!
The almost-voice in his head said You're just a fool! What can a weakling like you do? What do you think you can do against monsters, you've never been in a fight before that day you killed Raia, and you got lucky then! ...Or unlucky, because you thought of that pathetic worm that could actually lose to you as a friend! Brian manged to somehow ignore it. He was pale, and shaking horribly, you would have thought he was about to fall over. However, he began casting a spell, as the boars came closer and closer.
Brian looked toward the nearest small boar as he cast. As it came closer, and closer... Then, he cast! His voice rang out, sounding more confident than he felt... Than he ever felt. "Ancient darkness, strike! Fallen!" A small black glyph would appear under the target, and then, just a second later, a beam of darkness would shoot from the center, up into the sky.

Nommanommanomma! It's BACON! The ninja mumbled and pushed herself to her feet, watching the approaching monsters with a dark scowl furrowing her slender eyebrows in a sharp downward curve. Had the boars been bulls instead, she could've blamed it on Zelos' obnoxious stop-sign-red hair, but as it were that wasn't the case. What a shame. "And quit calling me that!"Melon? Honestly. If there weren't more important things to beat on, he would've got a solid slap for a painfully obvious reference to her bust size. Ugh...men. Noting the even distribution of the boars and marking off their general location in a hasty mind-map in her head, Fujibayashi whipped her cards from her tunic and danced aside just in time to dodge the charging piglet/boar-thing baby with inches to spare. Her ribbons whirling dramatically behind her as she pivoted on the ball of one foot, the ninja pounced on the monster piglet and proceeded to utilize grand master plan "Rape the d**n thing from behind with pointy, pointy spell cards". Generally it worked on the none too smart kind of enemies that liked to attack in a straight line. No point using Artes or Summons on such a puny thing if it wasn't needed, right? Besides, keeping it confused with her superior agility and constantly getting under its guard was a simple rule of assassin battle conduct. Meanwhile, she took the occasional second or two to check on Brian. If the boy fled, it wouldn't do to be surprised by a second foe, but it wouldn't be exactly good form to let a rookie get mowed down without at least attempting to save his sorry butt first. Kratos and Zelos were quite capable of taking care of themselves, so that meant half of the threat was already done for.[/ul]

" Yay, food!"
Zelos was already hopping from foot to foot when the boars arrived; his sword was perfectly extended ahead of him; he was ready to go. As one of the smaller boars charged at him, he much would have preferred the Mama Boar, but this was fine too.
Leaping to the side and twisting as he cut the small orange thing, Zelos performed his series of fancy, twirly sword slashes, and then added a Demon Fang onto the end of it, finally cutting upward in a Light Spear, the swirling move moving at the speed of light as a ribbon of light followed the tip of the sword. As the move concluded, he floated down gently--his pants giving a little wind resistance-- and landed softly in the grass on one knee. He was careful to still be in the shade. Standing back up, he propped a hand on his hip with his sword tip pointing down and murmured, "That was too easy..."

The Mama wasn't pleased with the Purple man; he was barely getting a good fight, even though she was taking damage like crazy. Although, the man's plan about flinging her back into a tree was complete and pure fail; the thing weighed practically a ton, and he wasn't about to move her with that puny blow. She replied with another charge, headed right for that red-brown hair that was sticking up abnromally.
As for the smaller ones, the little one had been charging at the smaller, timid-looking boy, only to see a patch of darkess unerneath him, and then a giant spike of pain. It wasn't enough to knock him out, though, and he continued on his charge, even if it was incredibly strained.
The one headed for the large-chested one was smacked away cruelly, and it seemed she was in a foul mood. He couldn't even get close to her, due to the constant smacking with paper; it almost seemed silly. So he built up some power, stumbled back a few feet, and charged in a little more.
The one fighting the read-head had recieved a ton of quick-paced attacks, and from the vertical slash had landed on its back, unable to get up and lying there... defenseless.

Fail. That was his little plan of causing Big Mama into running into the tree, so now he's left with no choice but to face this thing head on. Or better way of not getting run over by her charge would to get out of the way. So that's exactly what he does as she quickly sidesteps, a very large side step with a jump to fuel it, and double demon fangs the thing before quickly running away to a safe distance. Then another plan comes to mind as he charges the boar from behind and does a lightning spear before running around the things and continues to lightning spear the boar. Even he knows that trying to corner the big thing and do lightning spear is liking asking for it to maul you. There is no way that a lightning spear would keep that thing cornered and not from flatening you like a pancake. Okay bad metaphor but you get the point. Once doing it a few dozen times he proceedes to run away a good feet before readying a spell, which just so happens to be his favorite grave spell. Now if his plan is good, the boar should be a little tired from his little attacks and should take a while to get to him after his grave spell is complete. If not...he'll run like hell and say another plan has utterly failed. So with that he tries to cast grave.

"Ah!" Brian cried, as the boar continued charging, despite having been hit by the attack. The glyph from his Fallen spell faded, and the beam that was released rapidly disappeared into the sky. He knew he wouldn't have time for another spell, so instead, Brian attacked with his... Flagpole. Six feet long and three inches thick, you'd think it must be enchanted by the fact that it wasn't broken yet... If you knew what Brian had been through. Which thankfully, no one here did.
Brian was still shaking, but that wouldn't stop him. He held his pole up, so that it pointed directly behind him. Then, he stepped forward, and hefted it up rapidly in an arc so that it was headed directly to smash onto the boar with all the strength he could muster. Please let this work... Brian thought, his eyes closing even before the attack completed.

Oh gawd this is so laaaaaaate. ;n; already injured as is. An ominous rumbling underfoot of the boar bearing down on her as well as an even louder snort snapped the ninja's attention back to the beast a split second too late. The charge connected squarely with her already wounded abdomen, knocking the wind out of her as well as sending her stumbling back far enough to slam solidly against the tree. A jolt of pain was sent skittering along her spine, mirrored by a sickly tearing sensation under the bandaging on her stomach as the stitches were pulled apart by the impact. Sheena winced, pressing a hand against the reddening gauze for only a moment before launching herself at the offending beastie again without hesitation; smacking it smartly on the snout several times before sidestepping and casting several cards in a semicircle before her while exclaiming, "Pyre Seal!" Hopefully the Arte would be enough to finish it off-- she was feeling like she needed a night at the inn and a good soak in hot water. Providing the bleeding didn't make her pass out in the first place. Now wouldn't THAT be just the icing on the cake, huh? Right in front of the Idiot Chosen, too... ugh. Definitely not her lucky day today.[/ul]

"Yay! <3"
Fairly bored due to the lack of offence with this little boar thingy, Zelos sort of left it there as it struggled like a turtle on its back for a few seconds. He just sort of watched with his sword at his side, still hopping from one foot to another in a heated fashion, where he then stepped in and comboed its ass off.
Quickly backstepping afterward, he sheathed his sword and stood to watch the rest of them, humming to himself at his small victory. ... yeah.

'About time~ I almost died of old age~.....'
Hoorah~ Big Mama is defeated, with her little annoying babies as well. Tilting his head down, Kratos scoffs to himself. This little battle was tooo easy for a 4,000 year old seraphim, but you got to give credit to Big Mama. She fought the battle well, but she can't beat this War God. Nuh uh~ Staying still for a while to get the adrenaline rush to pass his system, Kratos slowly and quietly slides his sword back into the sheath. Not even caring to make a big deal about the battle, but merely looks around at the others. Checking to make sure none are injuired...not that he cares anyway. Besides if any of the were injured, by such simple creatures, Zelos would no doubt heal them. Well maybe not the half-elf; considering that fact that no one seems to like him. Perhaps Ms. Fujibayashi, but that's pretty much curtisy probably. Taking a deep breath and exhauling it, he finally gets his heart back to normal beat and the sudden rush of battle subsiding. Not really feeling the need to converse with anyone; Kratos just watches all of them through his one visable eye. As a few minutes tick by, Kratos easily loses interest in the party and turns away from the group. He had already wasted time with this idle fight, and the few minutes of conversing and watching them. He really needs to go to Meltokio, because someone has to get the eternal sword to Lloyd. Starting his walk towards Meltokio, he couldn't help but wish Zelos got knocked on his ass.

((OOC: Better late than never... Right? *fails*))
Brian felt his blow connect solidly... And heard a sickening crack. He opened his eyes and saw that the creature appeared to be dead... It was lying on the ground, its legs apparently broken along with its back, its eyes wide open, glazed over...
Brian felt sick, even as he looked away... He'd killed it... His gaze had headed toward Sheena, and he gasped as he saw that she was bleeding, "Sheena!" he cried, "Are you okay? You... You're bleeding!"
But... Wait, if there were any other enemies, he needed to help, right? He wasn't a healer after all... No, apparently his help was unneeded. All the other monsters had been killed as well...
